Great Buy

akald from Cleveland, TX, Jan 6, 2010

I did about 8 months of research, and knew I wanted the Navigon 5100. I got it from my wife for Christmas. The two major knocks I read about this unit was that it was hard to hear it and the satellite reading was slow. I can tell you one thing, I have no issues with either one of those. I have had a few things that I've had to get adjusted to this one with, but nothing major. My wife doesn't like that you can't change the voice (or maybe we just haven't figured out how to yet). The one thing I noticed is that some fenced off private roads are on the map, and looking at the map on the screen you think that they can be used (but the route doesn't take you that way). All in all, it is a great product and definitely a great buy.

ectoquazzi

This product is okay if you have super human hearing. The audio is too low even at max level. When you are setting your destination the unit seems not to recieve the info you are putting in right away, you have to keep going back and doing it again which can be annoying. This is my first GPS and I don't think I will Buy another. I just as well as use map quest for directions. The unit is in my closet. Also there is no wall charger.you have to plug it into your computer would prefer a wall charger. Not what I thought is would be.Would have returned it but I didn' feel like being bothered.

Navagon Traffic master

haroldg from Los Angeles, Jun 14, 2008

This is a fantastic, well needed product. I would be lost without it. I love the traffic for life feature and as i drive about 1000 miles per week in Los Angeles each week, this product helps me more than the old Garmin GPS I own. I wish I had bought the bigger screened unit....but for the money I paid i am happy.

Great help

Anonymous from West Tennessee, Jun 5, 2008

The Navigon was of great help to me on a trip to an area I had never been to befor. Every little turn on a mountain road was shown, letting me know what was around the next turn, so I wasn't supprised by sudden turns.

Best GPS I have owned

Sharkie from Mentone Ala, Jan 24, 2008

This product is the clearest - and has the most useful features without going overboard. I have had 4 GPS devices - this is my choice over all of them. Garmin is second.
