I researched wall mounts for over two months before I finally settled on this model and manufacturer. Here’s why; my 70 lb., 50” Fujitsu-Siemens plasma screen TV is obviously large and A LOT heavier than today’s newer LCD and LED sets. That said, I knew I would need a very robust mount for my installation. I know what I want so I looked until rather by accident, I stumbled across the Mount-It! Articulating TV Wall Mount while surfing Overstock.com. The icing on the proverbial cake was to purchase the mount for a fraction of its retail price and FREE shipping to boot!!! I ordered the item on Sunday night right about midnight and it arrived via UPS the following Wednesday at 8:33 in the morning! That’s about 56 hours from “click” to “ding-dong”. Amazing to say the least! The TV wall mount FAR exceeds my expectations. It is way more durable not just in appearance but also in construction. It is heavy but that is because it is constructed of solid steel and sports beautiful welds and attractive hardware. It functions much better than I thought it would. I was impressed with this heavy duty bracket that mounted easily with many options of included hardware. The Articulation is great. I used it to hang a 50" TV. It didn't even flinch. We would highly recommend this product. It is a great product at a fabulous price!

I installed a 40" TV on this and the guy who mounted it told me the quality of this was equilvalant to the ones that cost $300 plus. I can tilt it up or down and fully turn it right or left. It extends from the wall approx 18" and it feels super stable. Am very, VERY happy I purchased this from overstock instead of paying 3-4 times as much at my local electronics store. If you have a flat screen and want to wall mount it...get this before it is gone!

This mount is the most solid-feeling one I've used. The joints are stiff and there seems to be little, if any play in the articulation. Many units Ive seen are flimsy metal and tend to wobble as the screen is moved. Their mountings are too closely spaced or wrong-sized for their weight rating. The screws that come with this mount seem huge, but do you really want to trust your expensive flat screen to something wimpy? I hung a Sharp 60" AQUOS from this mount with absolutely no trouble and have had no difficulty moving the screen and having it stay where I put it. The only drawback is the tilt needs two people to operate efficiently. Since I rarely change that once it's set, this isn't a problem.. A few of my friends have commented that it seems to mount the TV quite a ways from the wall, but when I pull it out and turn it, they shut up. This is the best articulated mount I've ever used.

Very strong. Easily holds my 42" TV, & rotates side to side & up & down to accommodate many viewing angles. But like all mounts you WILL need a professional installer unless you're super handy. A 2nd person is required to help with lifting while the TV is being put in place.

These are also for sale at Sams store for double the price of what I paid. So, I know the quality is great. One concern I have is that it is very heavy, and then adding my 42" TV ... I hope it comes with lag bolts.

We are very happy with this mount. We have a big TV and I was afraid that the TV would fall off the wall but once it was up I was no longer afraid it is a strong mount. It was very easy to put up my husband did most the work but I did help with little things and it took less the 30min to install. It is a little hard to move around so if you could turn and tilt the mount how you want it before putting the TV on that would be best.

We priced mounts at the store when we bought the big flat screen. Wow! Too much! Got two for both our flat panels for way less than the cost of this same mount in the store. Just what we needed, and thanks to Club O, I didn't have to pay shipping! Awesome!

The mounts stated that th ey fit 32' Tv's. They do fit the TV's but the back of the mounts extend past the Samsung Tv's that I purchased them for. I had to return the items and repurchase smaller mounts. The mounts are for TV's that are bigger then 32'.

I used this Mount for a 42" Plasma TV. Very sturdy. The flexibility of the articulation of the TV is incredible. Great for a close to the corner of the room mount. I have my TV almost 45 degrees to the corner and I can't see the mounting bracket. Great product even better price. The places that sell you your TV would want at least double this price for a similar mount. The tilt feature is also good for a high mounted TV.

Universal TV mount is a great TV mount to purchase for your home. It is made of strong durable high quality material to support your flat screen TV. It comes with all different screws for the back of your tv and for the type of wall you will be mounting it to. For the price you can not beat the quality!

Product works great as advertised. Metal plates are more then sturdy / strong enough to hold my 55" LG. Only bad thing is the supplied lag bolts. Toss them, they're crap, and get some from the hardware store like home depot. Snapped one off in the stud even with pre-drilling and it was only 2/3 of the way in.

after opening the packages I've notice dents and nicks and when the mounts where on the wall it was more obvious that there was damages to both plates specifically on the corners and sides, unfortunately I do not have time to waste in pulling them down and return and so on I just refrained from buying from here again
