  Asus is one of the top manufactures and I was surprised to find this motherboard defective. Overstock.com was willing to trade it in but I was already over the 30 day limit by the time my RAM arrived and the motherboard was tested. Asus themselves are replacing the board but I have to pay shipping both ways and it takes some time. I used RAM that was listed on Asus' Qualified Vendor List for this specific mobo but it would not post with more than two modules installed. QVL says all four slots should play. The RAM approved as tested on the QVL is NOT the RAM that was on sale for good prices as it is all odd-ball expensive RAM. I do not know if Asus quality control is going down or I just got the odd lemon. So far the handling of the problem has been good but I sure would like to get the system up and running.

  I looked at this motherboard for some time reading the reviews and checking the prices. O.co's price was the lowest than any I found on any other site and it came with a rebate. Not all of Overstock prices are the lowest but they are tough to beat most of the time.
