When I ordered this product, I asked the Overstock rep if they were packed in the original factory sealed packaging. She said they were. When I received the product it was removed from the factory packaging and in a zip lock bag. This told me that they were either returns or used already. I was tempted to keep the cables, however, I could not find a reference number stamped on the cable that matched any number on the Monster Cable web site. Also, by not being in the original package the warranty would not be supported by Monster Cable. As a result, I returned them. Overstock was very good about the return and paid for the shipping and gave me a full refund. Although I did not even try to hook up the cables, they may have been just fine but I was not comfortable with the circumstances.
