ASUS - best for people
I do a lot of gaming and have never been able to find the quality of monitor for it to look it's best. http://topchoice.best/main-review/best-computer-monitors. This monitor has fantastic contrast and color. Probably the sharpest image I've seen on a *true* HD monitor. I actually ended up buying two more of them to replace my desktop monitors.

Good Quality Picture, Doesn't Have a Remote
VERIFIED PURCHASEThe resolution of this monitor is great. I can display a lot of information at fairly small fonts and it looks crisp and easy to read. I like the fact that it has a Mini DisplayPort interface so you don't need any converter when connecting to a Surface Pro. What I didn't like is that it doesn't have a remote. I connect 4 PCs at a time, and often switch between them. You have to get up and change the input manually, using an awkward button that's on the back of the monitor.

Perfect Monitor for Graphic Designers
VERIFIED PURCHASEThis is my second Asus PA279Q Monitor. The first I bought over a year ago and this one for a stand-up desk station. Color fidelity is fantastic and ships with every possible patch cord you could ever need. Only note when first connecting is use the toggle switch on the monitor menu to select your input first. Seems obvious but can be easily overlooked when trying to select the correct resolution and monitor color profile in system prefs on a ***.

Good monitor for the price.
VERIFIED PURCHASEI bought two of these monitors and I am well satisfied with both, but only because I also bought a desk-mount monitor stand with them. The major downside of these monitors is the stand that comes with them. They are VERY wobbly - the least bump tot he desk they are sitting on will cause them to tremble like they are skeered! Other then that, the color is good, response time is good and brightness is good. What more can you ask for!
