  This is a fine screen, but it's not quite up to the level that I was hoping for with it's price tag. The backlight color temperature is uneven. It's most accurate on the left third of the screen, too yellow in the middle, and too blue on the right. I have tested two of these units and they exhibit the same behavior. The right side is also slightly dimmer than the rest (not due to their dynamic contrast). When viewing photos, this is harder to notice, but it's more obvious with solid colored windows. I suspect this is because ASUS is depending on the fewest number of LEDs possible to light the screen and the diffuser can't work miracles. There is also some noticeable bleed around the edges on both units I tested. Aside from the above deficiencies, the rest of the device is excellent. The color accuracy and gamut is great and the colors appear consistent when viewed from most angles. This is much better than a TN panel, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to live with the flaws ...

  Very solid monitor with a simple setup and the ability to spin the screen (to have the length be vertical) was a bonus I wasn't aware of. I'd recommend this monitor and for the price...I think it's a steal.

  I want to exchange it but I threw away the box. It came on time but Its missing a port I needed so its pointless to have.
