This is a great splitter! Manufacturer 2-year warranty, so you know they stand behind their products! Feels sturdy & very well-made. Metal housing. Easy to use, works great! Handy because it splits audio & video! Highly recommended!

I loved this arm until I could not get the neck to stay in the desired position. It works ok but I am disappointed in the strength and wish it performed better.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? looks strong
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? maybe a glitch but packaging was fine
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. the neck near the monitor mount is weak and will not hold steady.

While they claim this will hold up to four 24 inch displays, at most it will hold two ultra-thin 20 inch LED displays, barely. I put two 16 lb 24 inch monitors on this stand and gasped in horror as I stepped away and it started leaning forward, threatening to take out my laptop as it fell over! The description says this will hold monitors up to 22 lbs each but there's no way! I immediately removed the monitors before any damage happened and proceeded to do some forensics. The four screws which hold the base fitting to the clamp were all loose & one couldn't be tightened because it had been cross threaded from the factory. The actual piece of metal holding the up tube in place is one, too short at only an inch long, and two, not even the correct diameter, thus allowing for significant play in the base. If you have two ultra-light LED monitors this might work for you, otherwise avoid.

We use this to place a single 24" monitor up high during tradeshow exhibitions. The base is really heavy to ship, but that is what makes it stable (so I better not complain about physics). Chief makes great products, and this is no exception.

Setup took less than ten minutes. It is sturdy, stable, and no wobbling or making me worry. This item is so perfect. I can now move my monitor back and forth, up and down, side to side .. without problems, without taking up desk space, and the quality of the construction is -MARVELLOUS-. I am REALLY happy with it. (It has been in place now for 3 weeks and in use everyday).
