I just finally got my MixSonic Transmitter and I simply love it! I drive a 97 Malibu that only has a cassette player and I've been making tapes from my cds. I hate the portable cd players because they skip and the cd's end up scratched when you hit a bump. This little gadget it just wonderful...once I found the station I almost lost my mind. The music was crisp and clear...I turned it up loud and just sat there singing the songs on my mp3 player. This was a very good investment! I love shopping on Overstock.com!
This transmitter works very good , It is very easy to use and considerably cheaper, i'm very happy and highly recommend it!
This transmitter is not the best quality and the sound isn't the best, but it will do the job. The switch for the power is a little hard to move.
it worked for couple of hours and then didn't powered on..waste of time and money on shipping...please do not buy it.
Difficult to switch stations with the buttons provided, often resets on its own! Very annnoying. If you can spend more money on a better brand, please do so!
I bought it for my son to use in his car. He tells me it works fine, sounds decent, and he has no trouble with it. There are competing products with more and better features, but they cost a lot more, so this one has excellent value in comparison.
I am very happy with the product. I bought it for my daughter who immediately hooked it up with success. The price was very reasonable and I was very happy with how fast it was recieved. Thank-you!
Lots of noise /interference, I do not recommend this product
The MixSonic FM Transmitter did a poor job with my Samsung YP-S3. While there are 4 different FM frequencies you can change it to, each of them was competing with a signal from the area in suburban Chicago.
I purchased this product for a bit of an unusual reason. I enjoy listening to movies and music from my digital cable while I am doing projects in the house, but in my new two story condo, my workroom and living room are on different floors. I considered drilling holes in the wall/floor to run an audio cord from downstairs, but this product made that unnecessary!I simply plugged it in and tuned the upstairs radio to the appropriate station. It worked perfectly! The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars all the way is because I would have liked for there to be a power cord included, not just the one that you can plug into a car cigarette lighter. I ended up easily finding one to buy, though.
This product works surprisingly well for the low price! It's a little fuzzy right when it's turned on, but works well there after
The MixSonic FM Transmitter does a fairly poor job with music. While there are 4 different FM frequencies you can change it to, the audio quality isn't great with any of them. That was both in cities and driving in rural areas. The higher highs and the lower lows of the music tend to get staticy and distorted easily.Since it doesn't sound that great with music, I've started loading my mp3 player up with audio books and using the transmitter to listen to them while driving. It works great for that.I wouldn't recommend it for music, but it does a good job for audio books.
I plugged my MP3 player into this FM transmitter, set an FM channel, and tried it in my car. The sound quality was weak with lots of static. I haven't used it again.
I bought this product about a month ago and so far I am very pleased with it. If you live in a major metropolitan area you might have a little trouble finding a frequency without interference ( I live in Atlanta and I have this issue depending on where I am). With a little tinkering you can easliy minimize that, if you have the same problem. For me changing the location of the transmitter worked well. I bought this to use on road trips outside of my immediate area, and for that it is flawless. It comes with a handy car charger (no batteries to worry about which is wonderful). For the price, the quality is outstanding.
i had a brand name transmitter and it was junk i used it for 3 months and it was broken, this thing came with a car charger and everything for agreat price,i use it day and night for my mp3 player bring it every were love it buy it be happy eazy to use also thanks
I bought this just to play my iPod shuffle in the car and it does the job. It tends to add a little bass the the music but it is easily fixed on the stereo. Overall for the price you can't beat it.
I was somewhat displeased with this product. The sound quality was ok on some, but bad on others.
works pretty well but does pick up some engine noise
it's average, a little *Better then others i have used, the *Sound Quality is just like Radio Sound, the *auto off feature is really *PowerSaving and with the *station presets it really makes it *Easier to get a Good station. but the only thing that really frustrated me, and maybe it's just mine, but (#1 If you move it around or bend the headphone jack you'll get some distortion,(#2 I think it's a cool gadget but $10 to much for what it is (or isn't) ((DON'T expect great results if your depending on your fUzZy old radio to pick up the signal, but it will work))
Only worked for a few days. The reception was not clear on any of the channels from the start. Then it just shorted out & stopped working the 2nd time it was used.
