I love the friction mount. It is very convenient as opposed to the window mount. I can put the friction mount on my dash whenever I use the GPS and remove it quickly and stash it under my seat if I stop to run into the store for a few minutes. I don't use my GPS each time I drive, and by using the friction mount only when I need it, one would never know that I have a GPS when I'm not using it.

The product is designed with technical skill. It is a good one that everyone will like it.

The size of the mount is ideal where dashboard space is limited. It's really a good product.

Now I can safely use my GPS, no looking down. I can hear it better too. This is a handy gadget, stays put and holds the GPS just so for best viewing. The slightly tacky bottom will slick up if you don't dust your dash (like I didn't) but a swipe with a dishcloth and soapy water (No harsh chemicals needed) got things right again. A very good buy and my GPS charges while attached. Snaps in easily with a click, you must press a lever on the bottom to dissengage. Simple, practical, useful and portable. I recomend it to all.

For my application this product really fit the bill. Appears to be well made, has never moved on the dash, even during one hard braking episode. One product improvement would be a protective cover for the bottom of the base when it is not in use. It has to be kept very very clean for the mount to work properly so the cover would really be a bonus. Right now I'm using a bowl cover that works well, as would a shower cap. I would like a little more height on the actual mounting stem for high dashboards. It is difficult to get enough down-travel on the GPS. Still, a good deal at a good price.

i previously had the suction mount that you placed on your window. It never stayed on and fell off constantly. The friction mount is so much better. Stays put and secure on the dashboard. The GPS sits in it beautifully and is easy to see once in the mount Purchased one for my daughter too and she loves it. Would highly recommend this product.

themini friction mount is just the right size for my vehicle dashboard wich is a 2011 nissan rogue.it stays firm on the dash board and holds my gps without a problem .would recomend it for any vehicle .

Don't forget to remove the backing on the bottom (as I did) as it slides if not removed. Works great, takes up little room on dash. I like it!

I am very happy with the mini mount for my GPS which I use on my Jeep Liberty. This is a good solution to suction cups which seem to wear out a lot. Mine unexpectedly let go a few times almost causing an accident. The mini mount is a good solution. I use the mount on my dash, in front of the shift knob (space is a little tight), or on the seat. The mount has a semi-sticky bottom and will not slide on tight turns.
