It took me almost a year to get this installed because I had alot of trouble doing it myself. Depending on which operating system you're upgrading from, you may need professional installation. Now that it's installed, I'm very happy with it.

I used this product to upgrade two of my computers, one running XP and one running Vista. The transition from Vista was quite smooth. It copied all my files and programs except a couple which were incompatible with no problems. Upgrading from XP was more difficult as it didn't save all my files automatically. I had to back everything up on an external drive then reinstall all the programs from scratch afterward. Also, my computer froze at one stage (after about an hour) of the XP upgrade and I had to start over from scratch. I have been using Windows 7 for a week and definitely find it more functional, particularly for home networking.
