Microsoft HSA-00001 Zune 4GB Media MP3 Player

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my father. He really likes it. The only complaint i have is that the headphones did not work at all. I called customer service and instead of replacing them for free since they were damaged they recommended compatible ear phones and told me i had to PURCHASE them. Needless to say i was not happy. I went and bought earphones at another store.

We haven't been able to get the Zune MP3 player that we bought for our daughter's birthday to work.Every time we try to load it , it says we need an update from Microsoft. Try to get a Microsoft update and it always says it appears the link is broken. We haven't been able to get it resolved even after over an hour with tech support. I found a phone number I'm going to try to call for help with the problem, but at this point I wouldn't buy anything else related to Microsoft.

I like a 'no fuss' music player, and this Zune is exactly what I was looking for. It doesn't cost a lot of money like other mp3 players because it's not bogged down in a bunch of extra features 99% of consumers never use anyways. Definitely recommended for the person just looking to play music on-the-go.

Firstly I think that the Zune is an excellent much cheaper alternative to the Ipod. The Ipod still has a nicer GUI and better software but is far too expensive for someone just looking to play music all day. The Zune for under $100.00 proves that Apple is drastically overcharging.
