Nice for a child
Purchased the camera for my daughter who was turning 4. She quickly got the hang of the buttons, being able to review the photo she just took. Shutter lag is fairly significant, so she is having to learn to hold the camera very still for several seconds after pushing the button to take a photo. The flash is very bright; washes out most subjects. Internal memory held about 40 photos before I had to upload them to the computer and erase the internal memory. I haven't gotten around to installing a removable memory card yet. Software comes with the camera to add in Spongebob characters into photos, but we haven't tried any of that yet. Picture quality is fair when the camera is held steady - this is certainly not meant for an adult, but is nice for a child.

Great Fun for Tween (and almost-Tween) Girls
I got one of these for each of my daughters (aged 9 and almost 7) for Christmas, and they are having a blast with them. The camera is very easy to learn how to use. The girls love taking pictures of everything and anything, and are having fun with the self-timer feature (allows them to take pictures of themselves). They also like inserting the SpongeBob characters into the pictures they take. Both daughters also like the the short videos they can take with the camera. The only drawback is that my older daughter drained a set of batteries on the first day of use (she was using the camera so much, especially the short video feature), and unfortunately, the camera does not use rechargeable batteries (it uses 2 AA's). But I'm hoping that the intense use is just because of the novelty of it, and we'll revert to a more reasonable battery usage cycle.I think this is a great stepping-stone camera -- they're too old for one of those toddler cameras but I didn't think they were ready for a real digital camera (even a low-end one). I'm very happy with this purchase!

6 yr old niece loved this Camera!
Bought this camera as a Christmas gift for my 6 yr old niece! It was easy for her to use. The Party was this past Saturday! She loved the camera and now we have some great memories of the party since she filled it with pictures of everyone!

Great for a child
I purchased this for my 8 year old son, who happens to really like Sponge Bob. He has enjoyed putting the characters in the show in his pictures that he takes. The pictures are nice & he was very pleased with his Xmas present.
