We are happily surprised that this inexpensive radio/ipod player puts out enough sound to hear all through the house, and the volume is pretty clear until you turn it up full blast, and then it gets a little scratchy. It was so easy, just drop the ol' ipod into the center pocket the boombox has for it and hit the "on" button.The remote control is tiny but works great and clips to your pocket or waistband or whatever. The boombox is lightweight, which my disabled wife appreciates, and operates on batteries or AC -- so we pretty much take it everywhere. We have over 600 songs on our 30g Video ipod, and they are a lot easier to listen to now. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

If the power worked, this would be a great purchase. Fortunately, I have a friend who can fix the suspected bad connection.

I bought this back in August and the AC Adapter has already broken and now the boom box won't turn on at all! I'm very disapointed.

I have an ipod nano... I don't know what generation it is but it is not supported (to charge) with this boombox. When I'm not listening to my ipod and my ipod is docked, it still drains my battery, quick solution, undock my ipod when not in use, not a bid deal to me. Other than that, it's an awesome boombox, great sound, sleek modern look! (btw I have the white). Price is great too! Only suggestion, if you are wanting to make sure it charges your ipod, look at details and what kind of ipod you have...

I thought this imove boombox would be a little bit smaller, but it's quite large. I wanted something to use in my bathroom when getting ready in mornings. I wanted it to sit on small 4"x12" shelf, but it didn't. The buttons are at the bottom which I did want & it's white & very clean looking. It comes with all these plastic base pieces for your specific ipod to fit into - I have a 8 GB nano. Guess what, you don't even need to use them! I have a rubber protective sleeve that I use with my nano & it doesn't fit into the plastic base that was provided, so I just don't use the piece - I plug my nano into it & it sits tight just fine (this way I don't have to remove my protective sleeve all the time)! I think this unit would be more suited for a larger room, but it works fine for me right now. I can't imagine putting all those "D" batteries into it just to take it outside, but some do it from the reviews I read.

I wanted to play books and podcasts; it's wonderful! Clear sound, easy to use, recharges my older Ipod.I have not played any music so I don't know how that would sound, but for what I've used it for, it's great!

The quality of the music is wonderful. The portability is great. The only problem is that the screen display does not display the first digit so IPOD comes out POD, radio stations are missing the first digit. Returning the product just for this problem was not worth the hassle so I kept it. I must admit, though, that it dismissed the value for the $$$ spent a bit. Other than this it is great and works wonderfully outside.

I've been looking for a iPod portable boom box and had come across this one a few times but never pulled the trigger. I finally decide to go for it and I'm so glad I did. It's cute, easy to use... has a digital tuner button instead of a dial so I can easily find radio stations plus the ability to set preset stations. Comes with a cord so I don't have to worry about having batterys all the time.The sound quality it better than expected but it is lite in the bass department, but not too much.

This is such a terrific value for the price, Its more than I expected.

One of the biggest reasons I purchased this item was that it would also charge my IPod. I was disappointed to find out that the charging feature does not work on the newer versions of the IPod like I have. I feel this should have been disclosed up front to the purchasers.

I bought this radio for daughter's room so I can play her music while she's trying to sleep or take a nap. The sound quality is great for the price and the remote is a conveninet feature. Love it and it will serve its purpose. I could not have found this at this price point anywhere else. Overstock is fabulous!

It's a good product, my only issue is the remote, it does not work well, but other than that, I really like the box. I really like the fact that is has a built in radio, so if I am not in the mood to listen to my iPod, I can listen to the radio instead, gives a bit of variety.

I got this for my husband on Father's Day, and we all love it. The sound quality is excellent and it charges and plays our iPods. It came with several attachments for charging different generation iPods, although we didn't need to use them with our Nano. For the price, it was a BARGAIN! I went to the big electronics store prior to ordering this, and I didn't see anything of this quality for under $150. I only wish it had bass/treble controls, but the quality sounds great anyway. The radio didn't work very well, but we live rather far from any radio stations.

I wanted something simple, that sounded good to put in my kitchen and this is perfect. No complaints at all!

This little boom box was exactly what I was looking for -- something that would fill a room with undistorted sound, charge an IPOD and have a good clear sound. It's also very light weight so it can be transported easily. The remote is very tiny and has a small range, and I think I've already lost it, but I don't use it anyway. I am very pleased -- and very glad that I can now listen to my IPOD without earphones!

I bought the black one for myself and now I got the white one for my daughter... This is a great item for the price, it looks much more expensive than it is
