The system was smaller than I expected, however has a decent sound for use in a space like your kitchen, office or vanity room. The system does not recharge my Nano while it is connected, this would have been a plus. The remote control is handy, however I had difficulty opening the battery compartment to insert the batter (the remote control device is a little flimsy.)

this little speaker/docking station is exactly what i needed for sound in my small studio. it has a big enough sound for a larger room and is clear enough for me anyway. i love it and at a great price from overstock!

This is a great-sounding unit, given the speaker size...and it has great features for the price. But be aware that it is not fully compatible with the 4th generation iPOD Nano. While the unit will play from the 4th generation Nano, it will not charge in the dock.Memorex says the Mi1003 will work for 3rd generation and earlier only.I just read that Apple changed the pin arrangement with the 4th generation Nano; this is likely the reason it's no longer compatible with older docking devices.

I wanted something with a good sound but small enough to sit on the kitchen counter or move around the house. I was very pleased with this product. Sounds great and doesn't take alot of space

I gave this a fair rating due to the fact that this does not charge my ipod. The adapters fit but it gives message saying it can not charge my ipod. the discription stated it will but it fails to do so. The sound is what I espected and isn't bad for a small player. This nice for a bedroom, office desk or small space.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this little speaker, but it delivers good sound quality for the size and price. Yes, it's no ihome system, but I think it still does the job. I was looking for an external speaker that was small enough to sit on a bookshelf in my room. This does the trick. And having the remote is super convenient

The quality of sound is not as good as I would've hoped. It's a bit tinny, and not enough zip to play my ipod loud. I don't recommend this product.

Sound is ok but not great, but for the money I think it is a good deal.

I am really enjoying this speaker system. I was even a bit surprise at the quality of the product. Its really sleek and works wonderfully. Only things I would change about product: Make it chargeable or a battery option for portability. And the product has a small blue light that is lit when running and is blinking when in its "off" mode. It is only off when its not plugged in. This is a little annoying especially in a dark room when trying to fall asleep. Wish I could turn the light off, but other than that, I love the docking system!

I was glad to find this speaker system available on Overstock. The service was easy and fast. The speakers shipped quickly and I received them before the estimated delivery date!They system is easy to use because it doesn't do anything extra. There are 3 buttons: power, volume up, volume down. That's exactly what I wanted. The bonus was that it comes with a remote control. I use the speakers at work almost constantly all day and have had no problems with them. They're small, but capable of being very loud - don't ask me about sound quality, I'm not a good judge.This was exactly what I wanted, and I was impressed at Overstock's price and service.

The only problem I have with it is that the remote doesn't work as far as controlling the iPod, but that might just be my iPod. Wonderful, quality sound.

This was a great little device while it lasted... which was about 7 months. Make sure to buy the warranty!

It looks good and sounds good. But once in a while it skips. That could be my ipod, but it didn't happen before.

This item is nice and easy to use. The remote didn't work, we called Memorex and they sent out a new remote.I am very happy with my first purchase from Overstock.

Did have trouble getting the adapter out at first. But after that I just love that Speaker system. Good sound for such a small unit.

I was pleased with the speed at which my Memorex MI1003 Black iPod Speaker System was delivered to the house, well in time for Christmas. It was a bit smaller than I had expected from the picture, but it is very nice and works perfectly.

Gave it as a gift. Should have read the description a little better, it's not portable. Just ahs a plug - nowhere for batteries. Around the house or in the yard it's perfect for.
