this is the worst product ive ever seen, do not buy, no support from company either, i would never ever get this (Memorex 20x DVD-RW Drive with LightScribe) product again, does not work, use google and look up other reviews if you dont believe me....

I originally purchased this for personal use and meant to buy an external DVD recorder but bought this internal one by accident. Apparently it was a happy accident since the one in our computer at work died right after I received this new one. I placed the Memorex CD/DVD recorder in the computer at work and so far it is working great. We do CD backup and it takes far less time than it used to!

I had an empty expansion bay on my new computer and wanted to add a better DVD drive than the one which was already in place when I bought the computer. I researched these drives in terms of price and features and thought Overstock offered the best for my money and that Memorex was a good brand. I haven't been disappointed. It was not real hard to install (my first time to install something on this level) but you do need to follow the instructions, and pay careful attention to the wiring. If you have two drives, be CERTAIN that one is the master and the other is a slave, otherwise you will have a system problem but that is easy to correct. And, as I said, the price is excellent for all the features. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Overstock consistently has the best prices and good merchandise. And if there is an occasional glitch I have found that they honor their commitment. Nor can you beat the shipping time and cost.
