Customer Reviews
I love this recorder. It is apparently one of the only ones on the market (maybe the only one) which has a built-in tuner. It was pretty easy to set up, and the recording quality is excellent. The price was great, too (less than $100).
I have only used this recorder to do basic television recording functions. It does seem that the Manual makes simple operations seem complicated. But, with some perserverance it is workable. this is definitely a good quality recorder for the money. I would recommend it.
I like everything about these units except for the fact that they seem to lose the memory of the digital channels when you switch the power off, or change to the analog tuner . However, if you just leave the power on it retains the digital channel memory. It is a great alternative to the cable companies boxes which won't let you receive HD channels without a subscription. I don't think you an beat the price right now for a unit that has the digital tuner. We'll be buying another one for a third TV.
I wish it had more I/O but overall it was a good deal - particularly at this price.
I loved everything about this device except the fact that there is no HDMI attachment. Other than that it was great. I found it very easy to hook-up and going thru the menu's was a piece of cake.
