The DVD player has never worked, we had to throw it away. was not worth the afford to send it back to overstock. very dissapointed.

so far [a year?] this dvd player has been great. i use it probably once a week, and have had very few problems with it. at one point it stopped working but after un/replugging it in, everything was fine. obviously if you want a better picture, more reliable quality, etc, spend more money. for the low price, refurbished or not, it is a decent player.

I bought 2 DVD players. One works fine, the other one is defective (movie stopped, would not go forward or bac k). Same make and model. Now, I have to go through the process of sending the defective one back and waiting for a replacement.Otherwise everything was fine - time it took to receive shipment was excellent. Ease of ordering was excellent.

Bought this dvd player for my daughter to use in her bedroom. It's easy enough for her to operate and there are no worries if she damages it.

For the price I'd say it pretty good, some of the instructions from the book were not detailed enoughlike how to find the 1/2 speed and 1/4 speed optionsother than that it was pretty easy to operate and setup

This is a basic machine and easy to use. I could tell it was refurbished. The inside was a little dusty and the remote was a little scuffed. But over all a good value for the money. So far it works great. When in doubt purchase the warranty.

I've got exactly what I needed. The price is right and the DVD player does exactly that, plays DVDs. The machine is not too bulky, only has a few buttons to press and get it ready to play. Overstock electronics are great products that help me stay within budget.

The remote does not work.Do not have the original box. I did not check the remote before dumping the packing stuff. My bad.For the cost, too big of a hassle to deal with.I would not by again.

I knew that this was refurbished, but I felt assured by the description of the refurbishing / quality control process. Hah! I received this, attached it to my television, plugged it in, and it wouldn't play any DVDs. These were movies that I know work, and the discs don't have any scratches or smudges worth noticing. I have requested a replacement, so we'll see what happens.
