I bought this because I liked the idea of being able to recharge the battery instead of constantly replacing it. I think for the price that this is a great little speaker. The sound quality is good, but it does not get very loud. If you are looking to jam out, this probably isn't for you. It is perfect for listening to in the car or while working.
