I bought this battery as my ipod was turning off after 30 minutes. I could not get the darn ipod open to put it in! So, I bought a new ipod (from Overstock) and gave my old one to my boyfriend with this battery. After much labor, he did get the battery installed AND his getting way more life out of the ipod then I ever did. One night, he left it on by accident for like 10 hours and it still worked! Be patient with the installation...it might be worth it.

This is a great deal, but is very difficult to install. My husband was extremely frustrated. He finally got it soldered in and is now able to use it, and it's fine.
Not for those who are visually challenged or have manual dexterity issues!
This is a great product. I used it on my tripwith my kids and our new iPod touch. They were using it for a lot of video and I used it for web browsing along the way.
