Product Reviews for:
4 out of 5I love the easy operation. It has a few glitches. There is no randomize or repeat functions that i can find. The sound plays crystal clear. Excellent sound quality, many options for an audiophile to play with , plays a lot of music formats (WMA, FLAC,OGG of course MP3, WAV, etc), sorting by ID3 tags, you can multitask while listening to music (view images/text while listening), long battery life , has a large screen, videos look very nice, playlist support, fully charges in just 3 hours, comes with FM tuner which can record, comes with an excellent voice recorder, a full length movie only consumes about 400 megs, SMALL size you will be amazed how small it is when you get it (stack 3 credit cards on each other for a rough size estimate), comes with many free goodies in the box (earbuds w/2 extra buds, carrying pouch, sports armband, travel charger, quick start manu, USB cable), looks very stylish and turns heads, is NOT made by Apple
I have had this the RockMee for arround 2 month now, it is one of the easiest MP3 player to load the song to. just drap and drop, or synch your windows media player. To keep the adjusted setting all you need to do is hold the "esc" key for 3 sec, then turn the RockMee off. Above all that, I called RockMee tech support once, they are very helpful as well, I am pretty sure if the customer below ever called the tech support, she won't have any problem at all. My advice is get it for yourself and your loved ones, you won't be disappointed. PS: love the packaging as well.
This is my first MP3 player and I couldn't be more thrilled. With help from my kids I was able to down load all the music I wanted. It has a lot of memory. It came with a lot of options and accessories. I was so glad I bought this instead of the ipod. Now my teenage daughter and son wants one.
this media player has tons of features like picture viewer, games, stopwatch, exterior speaker, etc. and has amazing sound and picture quality. its so small i can take it anywhere in my pocket. the only complaint i have is that the buttons start to come loose and it is slow in response. but for its price, it is worth every cent!
I got this for my daughters 8th birthday....it was great ..only took two days for it to get to her. She loved it....
wow... this product i read a lot of bad reviews but I would have to disagree. I thought it was great. Sure its slow at downloading but once i saw that it was working with windows media player i was like yessssssssss!
i just got my MEE and I am quite pleased. Downloading photos and music was easy now I am working on video but I will figure it out. For the price and quality this is a no brainer. This product is excellent and i would recommend it to anyone. I shop overstock often and have not had a problem yet. I love this site. The quality and price can't be beat. Plus the MEE comes with accessories that completes the package. THanks again O for such wonderful products.
I purchased this for my husband as a Father's Day Present, our 4 yr old gave it to him early. The quality is GREAT!! It is so worth it. I purchased the SanDisc 2GB card so now it holds 4GB. I was able to put two movies on it so he can watch while at work. It is very easy to convert a movie to .AVI format and then upload it onto the RockMee. The picture is crystal and the sound is sharp. I plan on buying one for myself. I am glad I shopped around first and found Overstock.com. I absolutely recommend this product.
The item was shipped very quickly so thanks overstock for that. about the item the good thing was that it came with all the necessary accessories you'd need. the InEarPhones were pretty good so i just used that instead of my other phones for this little thing. build of the Rockmee is solid, feels heavy enough. what i didnt like about it was that the moment i had it in my hands and was messing with the volume buttons, the printed letters rubbed off, cheap! wish they could've done better. anyways the interface of the player looked good. kinda reminds me of my Creative Zen V:M. but this Rockmee cant compare to it. playing games on this thing isn't that intuitive, it takes time to get use to the controls. by then you'd probably get bored of them already. i think the added SD card feature is interesting, i haven't tried it, don't have a card yet. but i bet it doesn't integrate media files with both memories internal-external. anyways i plan to put movies in SD cards so i can swap them in and out when im on the go. about video, you've got to convert every single clip you plan to put on it. this thing just wont play anything out of its screen range 320X240. also radio is a pain to use, its not as easy to set up, still trying to work it. Pictures, look nice, but is a pain to get to one that you like to see. they just load too long. well i can go on and on...but i'm gonna say that this is just a decent little player with a bunch of features, ones that you cant find on an ipod! i've owned plenty of other better mp3 players and this is like my substitute player when im charging my other players. plus, the Rockmee's battery is kinda weak, doesnt last long. every other time i use it, i sometimes get afraid that the battery might die on me, paranoid huh? Overall this is an okay player
This mp3 player was easy to download songs. Direction were easy to follow. Havent put any videos in it as of yet but dont inticipate any problems. very happy
The RockMee player is great... It does everything a MP3 / MP4 player should... The interface is fine... Loading music and videos couldn't get any simpler... The only problems I've experienced were 1. Mini SD cards are hard to come by... But, micro SD cards with Mini SD adapters are plentiful... 2. This is what freaked me out... A couple of days after I got my player it wouldn't turn on... I thought maybe I'd left it on... Nope, it just wouldn't turn on... The problem was in the switch... I jiggled it and after a while the player came back on... Since that one time, I haven't had the problem again... I guess I also have to add that I don't ever turn the player off with the on/off switch... I use the Esc button to do this... Hold the Esc button down, the player turns off... Press the Esc button again, the player turns on... Hey MEElectronics guys, check the switch! Even with that minor problem, the Rockmee is a great mp3/mp4 player...
I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. The player was extremly small and very hard to use. It did not work with Vista as expected. It did come with a manual however this did not help at all.
I BOUGHT THIS MP3 FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS, AND WE STILL CAN'T DOWNLOAD MUSIC OR GET IN TOUCH WITH THE COMPANY FOR HELP
I am very happy with this product we found it for a friend for there daughter, and we found that it has alot of really neat and usable features and it is easy to operate, we purchased a similar listening device for our son and it does'nt have all the features on it that this one does, we not only saved a great deal of money but we also go a product that is user friendly, I would recommed this product to anybody and I feel that you will very happy with it, the young lady that got it for Christmas loves it!!!!
This is the worst piece of equipment to use. The software make no sense and you need to go to a web site for the update that if I wasn't looking for help just to down load some music I wouldn't have known. When I try to down load music on it from either apple I Tunes, music match or MS Media player, it won't recognize the player. Also, when I use the USB port, it's own software doesn't recognize the player and tries to go to the web to find it and even that won't work. I have bought many MP 3 players in the past and have never run into a more complicated, no sense piece of hardware. I can't wait to return it.
I bought the 2G RockMee primarily on other reviews here, and I have not been disappointed. It is extremely easy to download music and videos to the device. Quality of the sound and video is excellent. Battery lasts a long time. Only criticisms I have is that the user manual is not very good. However, I was able to email the support group and they were very prompt and helpful in giving me detailed instructions on how to find certain features, like the random play feature. Also, you have to be careful about charging the battery - leaving it charging for extended periods of time will damage it, but there is no indicator to tell you that the batter is fully charged. Other than that - great device for the money. I kind of wish I had gotten the 4gb model now, but I can always by the external storage.
My review on this product is that it does the job and more. It was a birthday gift for my daughter and she chose this over any other mp3 or ipod. When she received it she had no problem setting it up and using it, very simple to operate. The size is convient and it holds more then enough music for her. She has not yet used the video portion of it yet, but she is looking forward to it. I rate this product a 4 so far from what has been used. Thanks Overstock
I have had this mp3 player for approximately 2 months. It has been extremely difficult to load songs. The buttons do not respond quickly, if at all, and I frequently find myself in a menu I didn't plan to see. Many of the settings revert to preset after I change them, for no apparent reason. I would not buy this product, or any product by this manufacturer.
The buttons are very loose and stick at times. It also reverts back to the Chinese language from time to time, so memorize the menus. Over all a very good value.
Very versitile little player with great picture quality and good sound. The jacks are a little sensitive and only high quality ear buds work well with it - cheap buds make poor contact. Operation is not exactly "common sense" but not too hard to remember all the steps. Neat features. Very handy overall.
