    They sync with each other to be used at opposite ends of a room. I don't recommend to use one in one space then another in a different room because it will pick up interference. I used these last year for amplifying holiday music on my Kindle from my living room to my dining room. Suction cup works great and the the sound is good-not tinny at all.

I have yet to discover if the quality is as good as it sounds on paper, but I'm excited!
