Lumiere L.A. 24-inch Photo Studio with Light Set

I'm pretty good with puzzles and yes, my son (12 yrs) can solve a rubiks cube... neither one of us, (even plus another adult) could figure out how to make this go together based on the instructions provided. In fact, when you laid it out on the floor to start the process of assembling, it did not match the starting picture in the instructions. The instructions showed a layout which resembled a cross or lower case letter "t". When you lay out the actual product, it was in the shape of an axe or hatchet. Either the assembly at the factory was incorrect, or the instructions were not created properly. When we tried to assemble with out the instructions, the velcro seemed to be sewn on the wrong side of the box walls. Had it assembled properly with velcro in the right locations, I thought we would have been happy with it because the quality of the box and the light stands seemed good... but then we tried the lights and one of the lights didn't work... and it wasn't the bulb. Finally, the shipping box was not packed very well. We returned it for a refund and shopped for a different item elsewhere.

• How did the image on site compare with the actual product? it did not go together as the instructions diagrams showed.
• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No. Based on the instructions with the unit, the velcro was sewn along the wrong edge.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality of the material and the lights / stands seemed great... it was the fact that you could not put it together like the instructions showed
