Good Product...terrible packaging.
I purchased cheap and received cheap packaging...the contents were simply tossed into a box. The cables were tangled and still had "sticky" stuff on them; hopefully it was just old tape residue. The sides, tops, and faces of the speakers were all scratched, scuffed, and fingerprinted. I can live with fingerprints, but the scratches...scuffs...those could have easily been avoided if someone would of had an F'ing once of pride. Luckily, all the speakers are in working order and they do sound good. No manuals or CD's / DVD's were present.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? If you ignore the scratches and fingerprints...everything was a match. To include the lack of manuals or CD's.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? There are scratches and blemishes...don't know who caused them.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. All the speakers work. Sound is clean.

no mid range. just Hi's and Lo's you would think they were bose. they sound like COMPUTER SPEAKERS that cost $15.00. keep looking. I love LOGITECH. They just let me down on these. Hope this helps.

Z506 - Not bad, but not great.
The speakers work pretty much as advertised, though sometimes I can hear some annoying buzzing and humming when I have no audio playing through them. I initially though it was improper shielding or some interference, but nothing is near them that could possibly be causing the noise. So I am only left with the idea that these speakers are not of great quality.

Fair price, decent product
Considering how cheap these speakers were I didn't have huge expectations, but they are pretty decent. Really no complaints. The bass is throaty and responsive and the highs and mid range sound well enough. It's not some high end system where a pindrop will sound crystal clear in a movie, but then again I wasn't expecting that. Overall fair price, decent product, no complaints.

Can't be beat for the money.
For a compact speaker system, this would be hard to beat. The only thing missing is a control unit for the level adjustment of the various speakers. Frequency response is great. Lacks the blaring presence of a larger system but the sound quality is still there. I bought these as a gift for a friend and bought the 906's for myself but should have bought these instead. Great for flat panel tv's that lack adequate sound quality.

Logitec speakers Z506
I shopped around and was going to purchase this at Best Buy for 100. 00 I checked Amazon and it was 75. Couldn't believe what a good deal it was. Perfect for my 17yr old room. Uses it for his xbox, pc and watching movies. He will be taking it to college in the fall.
