This is one of the all time best things I have gotten - it was $50 less than the SAME keyboard at the brick n mortar store, including shipping and when it arrived I saw it was the same as in the store.
I have been using an ergonomic split keyboard since I have carpal tunnel on the thumbs. So this WAVE has the "pinky" keys closer so you don' t have to reach or press so hard to get them. When you look across the board from the space bar edge, the surface has higher and lower keys. The index finger keys are also raised for a closer reach. I hurt my left pinky last year so on heavy typing days it hurts. I don't have that now.
I am having to get used to less slant - it has some curve to it - like a Mona Lisa smile- but not nearly as curved as a full ergonomic split. I am taking about the surface curve as you look down on it from straight overhead. If you are used to a straight board this will be easy to get used to. I probably need to do some of those typing exercises to get my speed back to 60+. The home keys have the raised bar so your index fingers are placed properly.
I got the corded version with USB connection so it was easy to connect. I also got a USB hub and that was also a GREAT IDEA! my laptop has only 2 USB ports on the back and I also use a Logitech thumb roller mouse, and two USB drives.
Since I have a keyboard tray I was especially glad to see that this keyboard is a little smaller (less than one half inch deeper) than my old ergonomic one and easily fits onto my tray. Since it is lighter and smaller than the ergonomic keyboard I am tempted to get a second one just to haul around to school and for my laptop.
I have been using this for two weeks and very happy with the purchase! I am a grandmother of 3 FYI so if you have issues with creaky bones, etc. this may be helpful.
Also, this is a lot QUIETER than my old ergonomic keyboard - I was working as a scribe and realized how noisy the old board was. and the keys don't stick - yay. Obviously my old board may have needed cleaning.
I am very happy with my new Logitech Wave keyboard. The wave shape is very comfortable & easier to adjust to than the more extreme designs. I recommend it highly.
