Thoughtful Christmas Present
I complained loudly whenever my husband was in earshot that I did not have music in my kitchen for when I was creating my culinary masterpieces. For Italian dishes I needed some Louis Prima. For beans and rice, some Satchmo. For salads, Ella. Desserts are just better with crooning. You know what I mean, right? For Christmas I was convinced he'd buy me another corning ware dish... don't get me wrong, I love those dishes. But to my delight and surprise... a Squeezebox! It will play any tunes I have on my computer, any MP3 from an ipod, internet radio stations, Pandora, and local stations too! I'm laughing with Click and Clack while piling up Saturday's sandwiches; making hummus while belly dancing to a station from the middle east; and boiling pasta with old blue eyes whenever I get the notion. The sound is surprisingly good from such a small device. AND it's Red! I frankly can't believe I ever cooked without it.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Hard to get an idea of the scale of the item without something of reference in the picture. It is a small device.

Love my red Squeezebox!!!
After having our Squeezebox Boom for a year, and being impressed by its high quality, we decided to stick with a Logitech product and get a Squeezebox Internet Radio (Red) for our bedroom. We could not be more pleased! It is the same high quality as our other Squeezebox. I did not expect the sound to be as good, but, for a small room, this is perfect. The sound is outstanding. We have been listening to it just over one month. You can also use a cord (not included) to send the sound to external speakers by using the headphone hookup. The only thing missing is a remote, which does not come with it. But, we have a remote from the Boom, and it works with this both models. You can order a remote for it. We are very happy with it, and would recommend it to anyone. It would also make a nice kitchen radio.
