Mysteriously Shuts Off
I was very excited to get these in the mail. I plugged in the speakers, I popped in my 5th gen iPod and it started playing no problem. The sound was boomy, clear, and much louder than I thought it would be. It was fantastic - until the speakers mysteriously shut off after about two minutes of play. No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to stop doing this. I made sure that everything was charged and connected properly, etc. There wasn't much advice online, either. The Logitech site said to make sure the volume on the iPod was turned all the way up, b/c this "auto shut-off" kicks in to preserve battery life when the speakers don't detect any audio. Like I said, I made sure everything was where it was supposed to be and still no luck. I am guessing this is some kind of manufacturing defect, because I read a lot of reviews online and people really seemed to like this product. Since speakers that shut themselves off after two minutes are pretty useless, I returned them. Overstock was great - my entire purchase was refunded plus shipping costs with no hassle.

Pure-Fi speakers
I've had this unit for over a year and have been very happy with them. The one and only drawback is the volume buutons. They are easily broken. the buttons on the older unit are made better. Besides that the unit was in very good condition for the price.
