I would highly recommend the G13 for your gaming needs. however the g13 that arrived in the mail from OS was scratched pretty good. When the unit is turned on you cant really see the scratches though so I decided to keep it. Its when the unit is off you can see the scratches and rub marks. It seems like they didnt really pack the unit that well when it shipped so maybe thats how it got scratched. They put the usb cord uncovered right on top of the screen. So that could have done the scratching while being shipped. other than that I love the g13.

Rurbished G13 - Works, but Cosemetically Deficient
Bought the G13 from O.co on a reasonably good price- thinking that factory refurbished would mean at least well packed and in cosmetically good shape. Was a bit disappointed to find the LCD all scratched up, clearly partially due to the included CD-R (that's correct, a memorex CD- with an AVERY address label stuck on it) rubbing against it the whole trip to my door. The board works fine- the fact that it incurred scuffing and scratching due to poor packaging and likely wasn't in great shape to begin with- I'll chock that up to a learning experience.
