I love track balls better than a cordless mouse because your hand stay stationery and the only thing you move is your thumb. Works great with Vista
This is the first trackball mouse I have owned. I was having the beginning signs of carpul tunnel. It only took a few minutes to get used to and it has greatly reduced the pain in my wrist. I love it and would never go back to the old style mouse.
Works great! So much better than an average mouse!
I have been using Logitech Thumb operated trackballs for many years. My first was the white Trackman Marble ++. Outstanding control vs using a normal nouse and uses very limited desktop space. My next one was the grey Trackman wheel. Also thumb operated, I thought they couldn't improve on the first one, but they did. This one had the USB connections instead of the round PC connector. The latest aquisition was the wireless version you see here. Outstanding performance and even less wasted desktop space. As a side note, I use a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse in my office at home. When I added the new wireless Logitech Trackman it worked perfectly with no interference. This allows my wife (who has not yet discovered the "wonders" of using a trackball ) to use the laser mouse while I can use my trackball. I did notice a little bit of a "scratchy" feel to the ball when I first took it out of the package. I believe it is because the supports for the ball itself had not taken a "set" to the fit of the ball. Anyway, it only took about half an hour or so of use and it settled in just fine. Now it is a smooth as the others I have been using for years. Thumb control takes a few days to get used to, but once you make the switch, you won't want to go back. That is why I continue, to this day, to use ALL of the previous Logitech units mentioned above on my various computers. GIve it a try...make the switch....you can thank me later.
After using for a couple of days, it took on a mind of its own. I had to return. I don't know if it was defective or what the problem was, but I wasn't taking any chances and returned. Went back to my 7+ year old wired trackball.
I used to have the logitech roller ball mouse, but it wore out and was no longer available in my area. I was thrilled to find it on Overstock and especially wireless. It is so easy to use and significantly reduces stress on your wrist. It takes a little practice to get used to the thumb motion, but after you are comfortable with it you will never want to go back to the traditional mouse.
My spouse suffered a stroke, this mouse enabled to use his computer with a little more ease. thank you so very much for selling this product at such a great low price.
I love this mouse,. So much easier on the wrist. I just wish it had a back button.
My family and i have been a long time user of this particular type of mouse produced by Logitech. Its great when doing simple to complex art detail and also works great in mmorpg's such as FFXI and Lineage II, DAoC, etc. My kids swapped out my trackball for their other normal mouse when they started playing a 3-Dimension game, because they liked the ease of its manuervability* while in the mmorpg's they were playing at the time. So since then and that was from the year 2000 to present, this family has tried other brands and types of mouse's,but we have tossed all those out and now only use a "Logitech Trackball/wheel mouse." Thankyou "Logitech" for bringing back this great product!
