This is a great new tool for iPad. Makes typing soooo mush easier.

I thought I loved this product. It came highly recommended from a friend. While getting out of my car, the iPad slipped to the ground ( not more than two foot distance). The cover popped off, denting the corner of the metal. Worst of all, it absolutely destroyed my iPad's screen! The screen filled with a spiderweb of cracks. Pretty devastating. After only 2 months or so, two of the keys popped off and will not stay if I pop them back onto the keyboard. My friend has the new version of this case, which is a wrap-around leather model. I think I will give that a try.

This turned my iPad into a laptop. I take it to class and take notes. Keyboard is a bit small but you get used to it. This is a steal compared to local big box stores.

The keyboard was easy to set up. Only because I was able to view a YouTube video about this. I did not receive any information in the box. I cannot comment on the performance except that it did respond well when I typed on the keyboard. Otherwise, it has not been used much. Bought for my wife who complained about the iPad2 touch screen being too sensitive: She does not like having to connect all the time and then disconnect when the iPod is away from the keyboard. The problem here is the keyboard does not have a connector where the iPad can detect whether it is connected (being used). So this means taking extras step to connect and disconnect.

When the product was removed from the box a key fell out. I spent a couple of hours fitting the "y" key back on the board. Also, the rubber feet were mising. This was represented as "factory reconditioned" which I doubt very much. I suspect this was returned at some stage and reshipped without inspection. Having said that, the keyboad is an excellent addition to the iPad2.
