This product delivers! My laptop was getting extremely hot. I was told that was not good. I found this on Overstock and have not regreted the decision to buy. It folds up and is easily stored in my bag. There's a place it store the USB cord that comes with it, so it will never get lost. It has two speeds and you'd never know it on because it is so silent. You know its on because the power light is on. You can lay it flat or tilt it up with the built in risers. A MUST HAVE FOR LAPTOP USERS AT AN AFFORDABLE PRISE.

I had the problem of my laptop overheating. I took it to a computer tech and he just did some disk defragmentations and spewed some computer jargon at me that I didn't understand, so basically I was still stuck with an overheating laptop. It was getting so hot that it would just freeze all the time. I didn't know what to do. I was browsing through Overstock.com cause what else to do when you are upset than to do a little shopping to lift your spirits,huh! I searched for computer accessories and that is when I spotted the Logisys Cooling Pad with fan speed and I wondered if it would work for my laptop. I ordered it, it came in and my laptop has not been overheating at all! If I think it is getting hot I just turn up the fan speed and it cools back down. Plus it elevates your laptop for better circulation of the air. There are no cords to plug into any outlets either it connects to your laptop and works off of your laptops power. I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from an overheating laptop. It worked for me!

I gave this as a gift to my graphic designer daughter and sometimes she spends hours on her "notebook". She says it helps tremendously and would definitely recommend it. Its super easy to use. Take out unfold, adjust and position to your liking and then it folds away perfectly to fit in your laptop bag. Its great at the desk and coffee table as well.

I bought two of these, one for my own laptop and one for my daughter's. She and I agree, these are just what we needed to keep our laptops cool. I was apprehensive about buying a plastic one, was afraid it wouldn't stand up to daily usage, but it seems to be quite durable and folds to a convenient size to pack into the laptop bag. It is so quiet when it's operating that I sometimes have to peek to see if the the light is lit or put my hand under it to feel the air moving. I have only seen a couple of other models in person, and they where a bit noisy. I also worried that the laptop would slip around on the plastic, but it has two little rubber feet that fold out, and they really do hold the laptop still and prevent it from slipping off the plastic top. It also has two legs on the bottom that fold out to hold the back of the unit up at a very nice angle for typing. My daughter uses her laptop several times a day for both work and pleasure and she said that it's really nice to be able to sit in a chair or on the sofa with the laptop on her lap now without getting a hot lap, especially with warmer weather coming soon.

Ok, for the price I wasn't expecting anything great and I figured if it broke after a month or so, it wouldn't sting too much. Here I am several months later and very happy with my cooling pad! The rear panel does seem fragile as others have mentioned, but by taking the extraordinary precaution of being careful (sarcasm off) it hasn't presented any issues. Here's how it went: open box, find usb cable, plug in, adjust fan, delight! You get two storage compartments and that makes a nice place to carry "just in case" items like extra thumb drives. My laptop used to get hot enough to be literally painful after being in my lap for a while, but even with the logisys fan set on "medium" (which is where I keep it) it cools masterfully, and my laptop runs better in extended periods. I have NO complaints and recommend the product.

This product was very useful for me. My laptop never heats up any more. It's perfect for my desk. It is not big and bulky at all.

This is the 2nd time I bought this item (we have two laptops) and they work wonderfully. Never has the laptop, tray, table or desk gotten hot, it turns on automatically when the laptop is turned on. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I needed something easy to handle to rest my laptop in my lap and dissipate the heat since I am a paraplegic and don't feel the possibility of burn. This gives me security that I won't injure myself (again) and it's easy for me to handle.

I bought this as a replacement for a Targus chill mat. It works like a dream! My laptop is a few years old and isn't cooling so well anymore but I've only had one shutdown since I've started using this product. It's pretty quiet, not silent, but I have it running at full speed. It's very simple to install. The folding part is nice for when I pack up, and the spaces for carrying the cord is very nice. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the laptop slides off too easily. There probably should be some rubber dots on it to help hold it in place. Everything else is super.

Although I have a built-in cooling fan in my laptop that works well (newly replaced), I still had a concern because the bottom of my laptop would get so warm. I am very please with the Logisys Foldable Laptop Cooling Pad with Fan Speed Control. It is so quiet that I have had to check it a few times to ensure it was actually working. It works great though and now my laptop doesn't even get the slightest bit warm. If you're concerned about any of your laptop components getting too warm then this is an excellent buy!

This is a great product but it would be nice if the USB cord would be longer.

This is a good fan that keeps my computer cool. It has 2 storage compartments which are perfect for USB drives and the cord that connects the fan to the computer. It also has two unfoldable pads that help keep the computer from slipping off the board. I liove how this fan folds up for easy storage and travel.

Great price for the money. Very quiet and lets my laptop feel like it is siting on a stand which is a good thing.

I am using it under a Compaq Armada 1750 that has had a heat problem causing shutdown & various errors, but fans seem to help cool enough that I can do what I want w/no prob. now. Time will tell............

I researched many cooling pads for my laptop. I am so glad I got this one. I have had it for over a year now and it is still working.

Quality is not the greatest, the laptop does not stay on the fan and a leg already broke off the bottom. Donated it...
