I'm using this with a custom standing desk that I use for video editing and general computer work. Works well to keep my laptop and extra monitor at a comfortable height. I was able to install it securely, but I my only wish is that the monitor arm was slightly stronger. I've got a 26 inch LCD monitor on the arm and it really tests the load of the arm. But I think there would need to be a redesign of the arm and mounting points to handle the additional weight.
