The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router is really three devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect both screaming fast Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to the network. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Connect four PCs directly, or attach more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. Finally, the Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.

I realize this was a refurbished product, but instructions for a Mac would have been nice. The cd says install before you do anything else, but for a Mac, it's not even necessary. It just confused me more. Then I had to go online to find instructions on how to configure and set up the router. It should have been an easy install but instead took me over an hour to research and figure out. Otherwise, it's a great router and works perfectly.
Much better than D-link. Had to manually configure this one, but it wasn't terribly difficult. Once it was up, it seemed fine. Makes my wireless a tad slower, but overall it still works just fine. After the mess I had to go to with D-link, this was great! No problems with it being 're-furbished'. pretty good value for the price.
I was skeptical about refurbished products, as I worked on Geek Squad before, and saw glitches in refurbished devices. But his wireless router has been working perfectly since I bought it. Excellent device, very satisfied.
Router was delivered super fast- two days from order to delivery! Simply plug and play on Windows Vista. Works great. I have the primary computer hardwired to the router and a secondary computer connected wireless with an air card. Can even print to the printer connected to the primary computer from the secondary computer or any other computer connected to the network. Great product at a great price.
