This does not fit properly for the Kindle 2 - you cannot turn the device on/off - also cannot see all of the screen. This was a gift for someone - otherwise I would return for refund.

The Kindle leather case is really well made and is holding up well. the screen protector causes glare in bright sunlight so I don't use it outside.
