I bought this for my 12yr old son that wanted a touch screen ipod.. Well this one was less then half the price as the apple and works perfect for him... Downloading music and pictures is super easy... AWESOME buy for the price ..

This is the most expensive MP3 player I bought. It doesn't require you to have a certain service pack like alot of other mp3 players do. This is a DRAG & DROP mp3 player and it supports pretty much all of the video and audio formats I have realplayer, wma, and avi.I believe the description says it has a scheduler but it doesn't at all. I wouldn't use it anyway though. I notice that sometimes when you push the screen it won't work sometimes and also if you have fat fingers (like i do) its a bit hard to touch the buttons. Its cool that you can also add song to favorites while listening to music and other cool stuff like that. Its really cool.Another cool feature is that you can download lrc files which will play lyrics with whatever song you are playing. So for example if you have Beyonce-Irreplaceable.mp3 you name the file Beyonce-Irreplaceable.lrc(you name the file that you download to match the mp3) and when you play the song and press the lyric button it will play it like karoke and will even highlight the words. I mean tht is super cool.All in all this is a pretty cool mp3 player. Its worth the money and it holds about 2000 songs. I have a few videos on here too.

I love to open things and mess around with them before reading the instructions... When i opened my new Latte Espresso and started fiddling with it, i was suprised by all the sweet features it has. The first thing that i noticed was that the screen will stay rightside up no matter which way i hold it. The feature that sold me was the built in radio transmitter and the basic plain style, but this Mp3 player has all the works. And its all touch screen, no buttons to push!

I bought this for my husband last Christmas, he used at his desk in an office, the screen became unreadable within 4months. This was outside of Overstock warranty, so I called Latte for the 1 year warranty, they gave me an address to send it back in for repair/replacement. I still have not received any information back and when I try to call their number no one answers the phone. I have no way to reach them and cannot get the product back.

My kids both have I-Pods thanks to their dad, however I cannot see paying that much for something I can't get more use out of. My oldest wants a touch screen I-Pod now but again I personally wont pay for that. I listen to music at work all day and this is perfect for me. I have plenty of room for all the music I want, the sound quality is good (and loud), and it's easy to operate. I would recommend this product to anyone on a small budget like me who still wants quality without needing the name brand. The only complaint I could have at this point (i've only had it a few weeks) is the battery life. I can listen to it for most of my work day but it will need to be charged by the end of the day so it's not really that bad.

I am trying to upload my first batch of music to my new Espresso. For some reason it came full of music Id never listen to. It is DIFFIICULT to delete files. You can delete 1 by 1 on the device. Which takes time when there are 2000 songs you need to trash!

I bought his as a gift for my finance and it stopped working three weeks after it was purchased had a had time getting any info on manufacture but finally Overstock.com came through and now the MP3 player works fine.

I purchased this for my hubby who works out a lot. In reviewing the comments from everyone i thought my only concern would be the touch screen. Well, it doesn't keep a charge long. We've found it must be charged 2-3 times a day, even if it's not being used it drains it's charge. It has become more of a hassle than a benefit. He can't use it when he wants because it requires being charged too much. If I could return the product i would. It keeps all the songs and video it says but be prepared to charge it all the time.

Bought this for my husband to listen to audio books when he went for his walk on the beach. The player worked great until he somehow slammed the player in the car door while getting out. That was the end of the player. It was a good price and worked as it was suppose to.

If you don't mind the screen size 3" widescreen, it is ok, to compare it, it is smaller than iphone. in terms of usage, real easy to use, just like a usb flash drive, drag and drop. the fm transmitter doesn't see will transmit directly from the video mode, you have to turn on from music first. volume is too loud, i have to lower it all the way from 14 to 1 to comfort my ear. screen quality is good, support many format, the only disadvantage is no fast forward or rewind. but it has "bookmark" to resume for the same file. if it has speaker, it is even better. i then found another viewsonic pocket video from xxx, cost a little more money, but bigger size, not too sure if it is a good one though. but overall, it is worth to get it.

I got the Latte Espresso about 2 weeks ago and I love it! The FM Transmitter works great! You just set the frequency to the desired station and then you set your station from your car or radio on there and you'll hear your music! There is one thing though, you have to have the headphones in the Espresso if you want your FM Transmitter to work. It won't work if you don't have them in. You can put videos, music, E-book notes, and pictures on there. You can also listen to the radio on it and record any songs heard from the radio. You can also record your own voice and it is automatically saved as a music file. You can use any headphones and they will work on the Espresso and still work the FM Transmitter. The Espresso is touch screen and might freeze up if you click to fast and you have to wait for little while and then charge it to make it work again, but other than that it is great. Another feature that you may not like is that you can't scroll through music with your finger you have to click the left and right arrows. The Espresso can switch/flip the screen to whatever way you want to hold it. It is light and portable. It comes with headphones that work GREAT and a USB charger- to charge to your computer. Also a manual to help you use it. It has a G Sensor which makes the screen vibrate when you touch the buttons. You can choose to turn that off by going to the settings though. It also has a text viewer, but you can't text on it. Overall like my Review Title it is a Great Buy! So go for it! There are no games on it and no Internet. It's easy to use and very affordable. I hope this review helps you make a good decision. I tried to include as many details about it as I could. :)

products looking good sounds good but can't do the radio?

Yes, it holds alot, yes it has the functions is reports but--I have definitely seen better for the money. I wish I would have researched a bit more. The graphics are not the best. It is not very user friendly. The best part of the entire deal is the headphones. They are not the cheap ones. I will keep this one to use in a pinch or something but I am already looking for a better one to replace this.....and this one is just a couple weeks old. Not pleased at all.

have read and reread the instructions = can not get it to record any music.

Could not find a simple way to record music on it. My son in law, who works in the High Tech Biz, couldn't get it to record. He told me to send it back and get an I Pod. I have been trying to return it for credit, but have not heard back from overstock.com. One last thing...the manual is a joke. It does not explain how to record, and is written in such small print. For that matter, the whole manual is hard to read.

I bought this mp3 player just to have a pretty simple device that would play music and last me a while, i also thought that the fm transmitter thing was cool but it doesnt work very well and it almost completely eliminates all the bass, it sucks. But i had the mp3 player for about 2 months and one day the thing wouldnt turn on, it is complete garbage. Never but from Latte either cuz i got another one and it did the same thing except within a week, and Latte will never answer any of your calls or emails

I bought this for my 76-year-old father for Christmas. He is not overly-techno-inclined, so I figured the touch-screen would be best for him. So far, he is enamoured with it. The sound quality is very good, and he can usually get to whatever he wants. I was under the impression it transmitted to a car radio from the description, but I have not been able to get it to do that yet, whuich is a drawback, but a simple plug from the headphone output to the car radio will fix that easily enough. The screen is smaller than I expected, but it makes sense, so it is easy for him to use. Great product for a budget MP3 player...
