I just got my ice for my birthday and I was very excited even only by looking at it. It has very rich silver metal casing and even has a speaker on the back. Video quality impress me more and I was able to convert my movies in my hard drive into the ice. The battery life is amazing, I watched 2 full moivies and still have some battery left. I highly recommend this over iPod if you want something new to try out.
The Latte Ice is very cool. I did have problems at first because the device started to sync. I had bad music files and could not erase the files. I had to speak to Latte Ice company. They told me to reformat it and it fixed after that. Video, Music, etc. are all good. Only problems that could be better are battery lifetime. The battery level goes to yellow pretty quick. I havent tried it straight through the whole 4 to 6 hours yet. AVI converter is easy too. only thing is it stops at 99 percent and you have to close it out and then its in your Ice. other thing is you have to seperate your favorite playlist. I seperated my music by artist. Videos seperated by music videos and movies. Its a great buy for the price and is worth getting. If you plan to have alot of movies get something like a 8GB. or more.
This is a good MP3 player for those of us who are older with reading glasses or who have big fingers. I can move around in the menu easily. The instruction manual was a bit sparse, but I found a couple good "How To" videos on YouTube. I would recommend this to a friend!
I must say that this device is a good value for the price. The 4gb memory holds a lot of songs plus you can add more memory. The head phones are pretty cheap, but with quality headphones the sound is nice. the main problem my sister (whom I bought it for) has is the fact that you cannot set up playlists from the device. you can arrange songs in folders as playlists on your computer before transferring to the device but as far as creating playlists on the go, not an option. She hasn't put any videos on there so I can't really comment on that, but from viewing the videos included on the player it, quality seemed fairly good. Overall - decent music player, if you like the playlist option you might want go another route... the Sandisk Sansa's aren't bad :-)
Love the device, hate the speakers! Super easy to use! Great gadget! But a main feature I was looking for was external speakers. The Latte Ice has one on the back, but even at the highest volume, you can hardly hear it. Some songs of course download louder, but over all, the speaker is very very weak. You do hear it, don 't get me wrong, but it's not something I'd even notice if I set if on my desk at work while I was working. (assuming I could...lol) If you are looking for external speakers, I recommend the Coby MP-735. It comes in 2g and 4g, but does not accept a memory card. I guess there's a catch to everything:)
great product but earbud broke off w/in 1 week of purchase. Otherwise very good value. My son thinks it was much more expensive than it was!
I bought this MP3 for my husband for an anniversay gift. I started playing w/it before I gave it to him. Loading pics & music was sooo easy. You pretty much just click & drop into your removable file. The player sorts them into the catagories they go in. I still haven
The player is described as black and having heat sensor buttons. The one you recieve is Silver and as shown in the photo. The instruction book is of no help at all. I had to just sit and figure it out. The battery life for just listening to the radio is exactly 4 1/2 hours. I think it's a great player and would recommend it others, but you better have a teenager around to tell you how to use it.
Nice quality unit and very good for audio, however extremely difficult to download video, which was the main reason for this purchase.
Not great quality, but not very expensive. Good for what I wanted.
