Customer Reviews
I am VERY happy with my purchase. Things I love: I was able to upload my resume (after converting it to a word pad file) after my printer ran out of ink! I wasn't giving it to anyone, just needed it as a reference, so it was really handy. The picture and sound are GREAT, especially when watching a movie. Battery life is great for what I use it for. You can watch movies in widescreen or full-screen (cool feature, I think!!) If you are listening to the radio with this guy, you can actually record a song you like right onto your player! FM transmitter is FABULOUS and has already gotten me through 2 long road trips without having to change the station once (BTW, I use 87.9). Things I am not so fond of: I wish there was an AC/car adapter! Maybe there is one I can get from the website? Haven't looked yet. It doesn't keep track of where you left off with songs. So, when I shut it off (to save the battery), I have to go back and usually start with the same song then proceed to use the shuffle feature. I am not the most technically savvy person, but it did take me a minute to figure out that I had to convert all of my music files to MP3s, so that is kind of annoying, but doesn't make or break the device.I have 2 full length movies (Dark Knight and Transformers) plus about 180 songs, plus my resume and some pictures SO FAR, and I can still add tons more.I highly recommend this to anyone!!
I really like this mp3 player. Everything is great on it except for the buttons and battery life. Its so annoying to repeatedly have to press the buttons to scroll down on the files, especially when you have a tons of song. Every time you look up the battery bar has gone down, Even when I kept it on the charger for HOURS!!. I wished it had built in speakers, but doesn't. But overall its a great mp3 player and video player. The white is a great glossy color, sound is great, videos looks great and plays very well(it has memory play). Its a good mp3 player.
I enjoy this mp3 player quite a bit. The FM transmitter is very clear, I've had compliments from friends about how much better it is than an ipod attachment. The music quality is very nice, and it still surprises me when a different song comes on, and the different sounds that come through that i've never noticed while listening to the song on a different media system. The buttons are kind of a pain because you have to click it passed every song on a search and you can't hold down the buttons to scroll down. And occasionally when the battery is getting low it does not respond to any buttons and freezes up. I have to find a small pin to reset it and it'll be fine. That usually happens after extended amounts of use.
It has great video and audio quality, easy to use, easy to put music on... the only "problem" I have with it is that the radio transmitter could use a little more strength... still it work very well.I totally recomend this product.
I bought this iPearl for my wife about 2 weeks ago as an upgrade to the player she has had for several years, that only played music.Pros: This is a reasonably priced player for all the features. Small in size but large in storage capacity and audio quality as well as clarity. This unit has enough output power to drive a small set of un-amplified speakers to a decent listening level. My wife spent 2 hours renaming all her tunes (2000 +) so she could better catagorize them for import into the player. This was wasted time. The player sorts them by genre, artist, or album itself. Video quality is excellent as well as still photos. With voice recording capability, storage space, FM radio receiver and FM transmitter, this player just can't be beat for the price.Cons: (1) While the player menus are somewhat intuitive, the user manual could be a bit more in depth. It took about 20 minutes of playing with the menus to get it to transmit to the home stereo.(2) The USB adapter cable that came with this unit would only charge the unit. It would not connect to upload any media. We used a spare USB cable we had on hand and the player was recognized immediately and we were able to drag and drop our media to the player.Overall: Excellent player, many features and well worth the price.
