  • Should have disclosed more

Totally bummed out. Initial issues with delivery, product never brought to UPS until after I called customer service to inquire as to the status on the day it was to arrive. Finally shipped and arrived 2 days later. Rep blamed the issue on me saying that I didn't choose expedited shipping. But the REAL issue, is that contrary to what the product description says, this laptop ONLY has 1 USB port. Seems the other 3 are on the docking station which is NOT included. Waiting for O to change the product description... So now, it has to be returned. In all fairness to O, they've been very apologetic and have issued an RMA. I've just wasted a morning setting it up, connecting it to the network, etc., and am right back where I started. Ugh!

  • Didn't receive what I ordered, but good enough.

I thought the problem specified in the other reviews would have been fixed, but no. I ordered the M4500 with the i7-620M processor, with integrated graphics listed in the description. What I got was an M4500 with an i7-740Q, and a separate Nvidia graphics card. The difference? The 620M is a dual-core @ 2.67GHz, the 740Q is a quad-core @ 1.73GHz. The 620M has integrated graphics and the 740Q does not, requiring a graphics card. Now, is this all a problem? You may not notice the difference in single process speed, and some things may need the additional core. Having a separate graphics card is always better. So you could say that I came out ahead. But Overstock is obviously sloppy, inconsistent, and doesn't learn from negative reviews. You might get what you ordered. You might get something better. From some of the other reviews, you might get something worse. Roll the dice and order from Overstock if you have the right mindset. Also, this came with a fingerprint scanner that was...

My son is very pleased with this purchase - says it performs really well. One quibble: I realize that this is a refurbished product but the keyboard had not been properly cleaned - there was quite a bit of debris between the keys. Yuk!

  • Dell missed the boat on this one.

I only buy refurbished. I wish I went with the HP instead, but took a chance on the Dell. Never again. The laptop won't close, the keyboard skips letters and if you let it sit too long, the screensaver doesn't come on but it locks up. I read that E6510s are notorious for this. But when it is working, it works fine. Next time, back to a HP.
