  • Awful and useless

Never ever buy an Asus. They have the worst computers and their customer service is terrible. I bought one and the mother board was "fried" after 2 weeks of use. They fixed it but charged me to get all my info and everything downloaded again from my external hard drive. I had it home for another 2 weeks and the screen got black marks across it. They said I dropped it which did not happen. They said it would cost *** dollars to fix it. I still don't have the computer back as it will be cheaper and less aggravating buying a new computer. Buyer please be aware of this company.

I got this computer and immediately the battery would not last more than a few minutes once the power cord was removed. Additonally, the system kept crashing whenever I got on the internet.

  • WARNING! READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BFORE TURNING IT ON

    Jun 17, 2014

Having purchased a laptop from Overstock I assumed all I had do was turn it on, BUT I ignored the paper stuck over the keyboard giving special insrtuctions on booting up for the first time. Why they couldn't have performed these steps before they shipped it out I can only assume was to save fifty cents or so. the are going to send me a disk that will hopefully fix it. Another week without a computer. I think I may try ebay next time.

I received it and it is damaged, not in the shipping, but incorrectly repaired. The touch pad has a "bump" protruding up out of the "touch pad" and does not work as it should. It also does not recognize one of the USB devices, I presume one of the USB Ports. What now? How much longer will I be without a PC? Thank you. Be blessed, Ed Schwartz

  • Un-Refurbished System

    Jul 22, 2014

quondo  from Morgan Hill, CA, Rating:2.0

I would have sent it back, if I were not PC literate. I had to update all the drivers, the system was outfitted with a 802.11 agn mini wifi adapter. I had to search and finally was able to find a suitable driver on the Dell fto.dell.com site to make a 5G wifi connection. The DC cable of the AC power supply was torn. Luckily, your support team was very helpful in sending me a replacement. Honestly, I have purchased refurbished equipment in the past, and was pleased with the like new quaility, however, you can tell that this system was used. Never Again!
