I purchased this subwoofer since I only had room for a shallow truck box to fix between the seats of my van. The sound is very impressive. I have it hooked up independently to a 240 RMS amplifier even though the sub is more than capable of more power. I am more than content and quite surprised even. I have never purchased a product of this brand in the past. The bass is clean and hits nicely. Not sloppy in anyway whatsoever. Great value for the price. Similar dual voice coil shallow subs cost considerably more, and this one is worth it's salt.
