This weather station is great! It was very easy to set up and immediately started generating information. My husband is "a little bit" obsessed with the weather and he is just loving his new Christmas Toy! The price is beyond reasonable for such a precision instrument and I recommend it highly for the weather buff - young or old. Thank you Overstock for the opportunity to give another great gift!!!

The outdoor wind detector is basically useless unless it is incredible gusty, otherwise it does not move much. But if it is very windy, I really don't need a weather station to tell me that now do it...I can look out of the window for free. Also, the temperature reader over reads-it makes it seem hotter outside in the summer time than it actually is. This is not very accurate at all-if I want weather reports that are inaccurate, I will simply watch the local news! At least that is free! Don't waste your money on this. You won't get the accurate weather readings that someone who is interested in having a weather station is looking for.

This was a gift to my husband and he has been very pleased with the product. We have had it for severla years now and never have had any problems with it.

I got this weather station for my husband's birthday. He was delighted. It had a lot more features than he had actually requested but he has enjoyed playing with them. Aside from climbing a tree to mount the aneometer it was pretty easy to install and very easy to use.

This was great gift: recipient most excited about ALL functions and ability to monitor weather.

Overall a very good product - exactly what we were expecting with no disappointing "surprises". Easy to set up and use.

This was a gift for my father. He enjoyed figuring it out and said setting up and installing it was a 'breeze'. He uses it everyday and really likes it.

This is a great weather station for those who live in ever changing climates (i.e. Michigan!). Our weather seems to change minute by minute, so this weather station has helped us keep track of what is going on outside! Easy installation, but the buttons on unit itself are not very intuitive. We keep the manual close by (for things like min/max temps and other items that aren't displayed all the time) but it doesn't seem to be a problem. Great value for the price!

This really is a great weather station for the home. It is quite easy to install and seems to be very accurate. I really enjoy the convenience of being able to sit in the warm house and know all that is going on outside in the weather department. Thanks for a great product at a great price.

Wind monitor did not work had to return to factory for replacement. It was a bad unit but I had to pay return freight. Unit is very complicated to set up. For later monitoring you better have the instruction handy. Now that I have gone through all this I enjoy the unit. However the temp, is about 4 deg. off I would go for a basic model next time.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my parents who live inthe MIdwest and they absolutely loved it. They said it was easy to set up, and that it was completely accurate. I'm thinking of buying one for myself.

My son-in-law loves it. He is especially impressed with the wind chill factor capability.

The only thing I question is the wind measurement. It seems to be consistantly about half of what the local weather is saying.

I am very pleased with this weather station. The display is easy to read and provides accurate and complete information.

I recently purchased this product for my dad for Christmas... It turned out better than I thought! It was extremly easy to set up. Make sure you have a few ty-raps available to secure the wire from the wind sensor down to the teperature sensor and battery compartment. What I like about it the most is that it shows inside and outside temperature and humidity on the same screen with wind speed and , of course, the weather prediction. The only thing I was dissapointed about was that it wasn't back-lit. It has a lighted display and it does work, but it is only three tiny lights on the right side. That is the only complaint I have on this little weather station. Other than that... IT'S GREAT, AND DAD LOVES IT!!!!!!!!!

Best system for price! Very fun and accurate. Only reason I gave 4 stars is that you MUST read manual before using. Very specific setup. Once you are past that great fun!

I bought one of these for my parents for Christmas, and they really like it. The only complaint was that the rain, cloud, and sun graphics aren't actually a forecast, just an indicator of whether the weather will "improve" or not. It actually comes with a little anemometer to measure wind speed. Other products that claimed to measure wind speed did not have one of these. The measurements all seemed accurate, and it was a great value here at Overstock compared to other online vendors.

Great product...easy to install and use. Information is very accurate. Only suggestion for improvement would be to add a stand. They give you a number of ways to hang it, but no stand. I had to buy a stand separately, as hanging was not an option.

Overall good product, with the exception of the wind sensor, which is not working

I have had numerous "weather Stations" in the past and they always quit working after replacing the bateries. So far so good. It has a nice screen on it and it has predicted the weather as best as any home unit might do. It is does a great job on interior reporting the home conditions as well. A great unit for the price and it is also endorsed by the "Wheather Station". GREAT DEAL !!!! Paul R. Seatle, WA
