Great prod. WEather station tied to internet for realtime streaming forcast all done via wireless connection. This is cool stuff.
Got the stuff and tried to setup.
1. packaging sucks. Unbelievable headache to unpack from the plastic wrap used. Almost cut cables when I took sissors to the packaging.
2. setup is not intuitive. Went to setup using my wifi router. Wifi signals were conflicting and it crashed my router.
3. Tried to contact help/support. Good luck. Abandoned whole setup for 2 days until had more time.
4. Finally contacted Belkin (my wifi router support) who told me to try changing the channel. This worked. Support from LaCrosse was useless.
5. Once I was able to use a different channel all was good. A few glitches in getting the weather device to talk to the router but all in all it was good.
Prod. is functioning well now. I'm pleased and glad I purchased.
However, setup was a nightmare.

I bought this (unfortunately before the other review was written) and was extremely disappointed when I opened the box. The product requires you to have high speed internet and a router to work. Other products of this type get updates via radio signals. I would look to other products before considering this one. You also need to hook it up to your computer to use some of the features. The description of the product leaves out key points that would prevent returns.

I just received this and also just sent it back. The description fails to mention that you have to have Wifi for it to work. That seems important enough to me that it should have been mentioned on the product description.
