La Crosse Technology WS-450W Wireless Color Forecast Station

Recently bought a second unit for myself, after buying the first as a gift. The feature set vs. price is excellent. What I'm looking for in this class of unit is outside temperature and humidity, plus barometric pressure readout. The forecast icons are nice and do seem to be reasonably accurate, but I prefer numbers. I deducted a star due to two things in combination, really. The biggest one is the viewing angle of the display. Side to side viewability is excellent, a very wide range. From above, it's also excellent. From below, the visibility cuts off anywhere below perpendicular to the display, which is compounded by the fact that this is a table mount unit, which was not mentioned in the product description, at the time I purchased anyway. There's no option for a wall mount that I can see. Soooo, resting on table top, there's an upward tilt to the display, which tends emphasize the lack of visibility from below the display and I have to walk over to the unit to see the display. There's room for improvement on the display angle in future product, but overall a nice little station and aesthetically pleasing amongst one's furnishings.
