This DVD player won't hold a charge and it stop working after the charged it came with on the third time I played it. I couldn't get it to come back on. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Don't waste your money!

I like this portable DVD player. Definitely one of my better online buys. It's region free, so it is compatible with many type of files, so make viewing so much easier and better if you're always on a go like me. The size is compact enough that I could fit it in my messenger bag. My gf has one too and she puts it in her purse. Quality is definitely alot better than I'd expected, especially after seeing how compact this thing is. I would never have expect the picture to be clear with no glares, this definitely offer above average picture quality. The sound could be better, but honestly I am content already with all its nice features. User friendly portable dvd player and sure make a good companion when you're traveling and need some entertainment. Will recommend this to anyone.

Ordered on Sunday, recieved on Wednesday. Nice!!! Rechargeable battery Lasted 2 movies. The unit arrive with Region 1 setting, but with included step by step instruction is a breeze to change region. No big deal. Great picture quality, except the build-in speakers.. little bit under volume, but with personal headset, this thing rocks!!!

Bought this to entertain my 1 year old daughter on a long flight and it worked like a charm. It holds a decent charge and gets us through about two movies. She is now 3 and can work the DVD player all by herself. It was a great purchase!

This works best when fully charged, you will know it's fully charged when the red light goes off by the charger. Several times I thought the player had broken when the batteries had just died...first the sound goes, then the picture, or vice versa, until the screen is black. A full recharge is all it needs. Plays fine for about 2.5 hours, which is good for us. Picture quality is decent, nothing breathtaking, or even impressive, it is very basic, but the kids (2 and 3) really don't care, they are just looking to be entertained on long car trips. This player has been dropped a few times -I swear we had broken it one time, but a little rest, and battery charging and it was up and running again. I would not say it is indestructible, but certainly kid-friendly.

THere were two weaknesess with this product, no personal earphones and low volumn limititation. If one has a problem with hearing, this item could be a challenge.Other then that the item came in excellent condition...qw3ert

This is a very good portable DVD player. The display is sharp and clean and on-board controls are about as straightforward as could be. The included remote is handy too. For the price (along with the other positive reviews), the unit, its features and included amenities are a great buy!

Bought this as a replacement for an older refurbished one I had for a couple of years. Didn't want to spend a lot of money. Was very impressed for the quality related to the price. Didn't expect a great picture but am more than pleased with this unit. Would totally recommend for someone looking for a basic model but still with decent picture and sound.

I have been looking for a portable dvd player for some time. I read the other reviews about this model and decided to try it out. Considering what it cost, under $70, I am very satisfied with its features and performance. It was very easy to set it up for region-free operation. When I use headphones, the sound is excellent, both for dvds and cds. So far I have had no problems.

for the price paid, nothing to complaint. Happy with the purchase. Recently bought my daughter a supersonic one and honestly it could not be compare to this one. The quality of this portable player is surprisingly very good considering the compact size. I would buy it again if I ever need another portable DVD, as I think this will last my wife and I for a while.

This DVD is definitely worth the money spent. I've taken this on roadtrip after roadtrip this past Christmas and New Year and it has withstand the wind, the rain, and the many drops on the ground. Still workable and still offer good quality pictures. It's no Sony by all means, but for the price I paid for this, I have no complaints! It's portable so I could drop it inside my backpack for school or purse and when I go out. Picture quality is good, audio is loud and clear - no fuzzy noises, operation is easy enough that my niece that is 8 can work it and price is just right. Buy it!

Bought two of these before our Christmas roadtrip to my parents house. The kids love it, they can watch movies and listen to music on them at home and during long trips. My wife and I use it too, the picture and sound is definitely above average quality. Especially for the price Overstock is offering for this piece, definitely worth it. It is durable for sure, since my son dropped one of the player a few times and it still working great. Very happy with my purchases, will recommend this to any family.

This is not a high quality DVD player, but that is why the price is right. We have not had a problem at all with the DVD player and my wife uses it everynight. I did not want a expensive DVD player, just one my wife could use whenever she wanted and where ever she wanted. Great for the price. If you want a GREAT DVD player, then you will have to pay ALOT more.

The DVD player was a great size, was very easy to operate and set up and came in a very timely manner.

I sent it as a gift for one of my brothers who lives in Pebble Beach, Ca., so I'm hoping he'll enjoy it!
