Worked out of the box. Had exactly the feature I was looking for. Large screen helps me see the smaller characters especially when doing math problems. It's great I love it.

purchased this larger-screen monitor for *** in Feb. 2010 for use at work; as of Aug. 2011 still going great (no pixel color distortion) even though it's on over 10 hours a day every business day

This is the monitor I wished for since my first PC 42 years ago. It worked perfectly right out of the box. The users manual, however, is the usual mishmash of extraneous one-size-fits-all model numbers (none of which match the product) and mismatched illustrations. LG needs to hire a software engineer to cut a master CD for each model.

Great monitor and I was lucky to find one, even though refurbished, as LG has recently taken them off the availability list. I have not looked to see if what they have new tops this one, but this monitor is above all others I have priced and reviewed.

I bought the exact same monitor about a year ago from Tiger Direct, however a few months after I bought it I wanted to buy a second monitor; when I called TG they informed me that LG discontinued this model of monitor, not sure why as I thought it was a really good monitor and a good size.I was very excited to see it on Overstock.com for a lot less. This monitor is great for a 3D artist or a graphic artist, but not so good for any professional photographer or print artist as the monitor at certain degrees isn't the best for the colors. however if you look at it directly in front of it then its all good. but again you can't beat the price and its a great value.

I had used the same model previously, but the ex-boyfriend ended up with it when he moved out. I was ecstatic to find this on overstock for $130 less than what we had paid before, so I ordered it right away. It certainly doesn't look "refurbished" - out of the box, everything is shiny and new. This monitor only comes with a VGA cable, so a DVI cable will need to be purchased to get the best quality picture. So far I haven't had any issues at all, and am loving my new monitor!

I bought this to upgrade one of my 22" ViewSonic's and I was impressed. After a side by side with My other LCD I was blown away by the color depth. It took a little getting used to the size but once I adjusted I have been very happy with my purchase. Like some people i was considering purchasing a TV for use as a computer monitor but at this price and the 1920 x 1200 resolution I couldn't pass it up. One thing that is not mentioned in the specs is the 4 port usb hub integrated into the LCD. Overall a great purchase and I plan to buy another. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star is the 90 Day warranty.
