LG W2052TQ-TF Widescreen 20-inch LCD Flat Monitor (Refurbished)

I ordered one of these in May. It arrived that month, much like new, except for a few scuffs and scratches. After about four months, however, the screen began to flicker on and off, and at five months, an image no longer comes up when I power up the monitor. It seems that in this case, "refurbishing" was more like pouring sawdust into the muffler. We won't be back to Overstock.com.

this product is as good or better than new, the picture, the ease of asemble, cable hook up, it's just a good moniter.-----------

So far, this monitor is pretty good for the money spent, and I did purchase this monitor as a refurbished unit. I didn't necessarily need an Apple Cinema 20" monitor to match my iMac 20", but I still wanted a monitor with the same resolution and colors that are close to the iMac display. Using the advance color calibration settings and the settings on the monitor, I was able to get the colors to match close enough that it's not annoying when working on everyday tasks, although I do notice the difference a little more when using Final Cut Pro 2 and I have the same image in preview windows on both monitors. I did notice that the power savings mode did not work correctly with the iMac with the analog connection, but it does work fine on the DVI connection. I did not test the analog power savings mode on the PC, but it would just simply say that the signal is disconnected. If this monitor broke outside the warranty period, I might get another one for normal everyday tasks, but I might look elsewhere if I have to do more graphic and video projects again. Then again, it may last long enough for me to hold off until the next computer upgrade to an iMac 24" or larger, and I won't need another monitor on desk.

Love the new screen no complaints at all. Great for watching movies on ..Love it!
