I love this GPS system. it is the first I've ever used/owned, and it works wonderfully. It's fairly easy to figure out and once you do, it's a breeze to use. It came equipped with a window mount and and a dashboard mount, so you can stick it wherever you want. It also comes with a car charger with a cord long enough to place the unit almost anywhere on the front of the card. The screen is easy to understand, and it's very clear and crisp. It responds very well to touch. It even has a day and night setting. The daytime setting allows the screen to be bright so it's easy to see, and the night setting changes the colors to darker (but still easy to read) colors so that the bright light's not a distraction when driving. The only minor issues I have are that the maps are just barely outdated - I live in a big city where they build new roads and close roads all the time, and the gps system isn't updated for the new road openings/closings, but they've only occurred in the last year. The other minor issue is that I wish the volume would go just a bit higher. It's perfectly easy to hear as it is, but I'd like to be able to listen to music at a reasonable level and still hear the system's instructions. It's not a big deal though. All in all i LOVE this thing and I would HIGHLY reccommend it to anyone. And the shipping was extremely fast. I got it just TWO days after I ordered it! :)

I just wanted you to be aware that there are no upgradeable maps as of 20 August 2008. I called LG and they dont have a software release date. It would be a great product if the maps were correct.

I am sooo pleased with this item. My friend had a Garmin and this has better features then his and I paid way less. It does everything specified and I couldn't be happier. To the lady having voice problems, just go to the "GUIDANCE" menu. It will take you to the voice menu and you just touch what you want her to say. Thanks LG & Overstock. You haven;t let me down yet!!

This is a great GPS for the cost. It has all the features of more expensive GPS's and does a good job navigating. The screen could be a little brighter during the day. With the brightness set all the way up, sometimes you still can't see with sun glare. It recalculates routes quicker than Garmin and can be used while recharging.

Its a good unit but doesnt do one of the things advertised. Its says you can have road names and numbers anounced by voice and the settings are there, but I can not get them to work and that was one of the reasons I decided to buy this model. If anyone knows how to get this working, please post it

I bought this GPS two years ago and I have had a lot of problems with it. The first problem I had was everytime I powered it up, it showed the map somewhere in Texas. I live in AR!!! About 10-30 minutes later it would actually figure out where I was. I even reset the sats and everything. So frustrating!! Last year on vacation we were going to Orange Beach, AL and it told me to turn right on Powerline Road. This road was DIRT and had a HUGE sign that said DO NOT ENTER. This had never been a public road before. After hearing "route recalculation" a thousand times, it kept taking us in circles back to this road. Yes, our condo was on the other side, but I dont drive an ATV!!! So frustrating! Everything on it is so out of date. POIs are on there that have been out of business for years!! And since there are no more updates, I suspect it will just be worse!!Our touch screen has a dent in it now...I'm not quite sure how it got there...well now it will not do anything, you just power it up and it shows you the main screen. So if you do decide to buy this, buy a hard cover for it so nothing hurts the screen! We bought the Tom Tom for 99.00, it works GREAT!! The screen is smaller, but it's so up to date and it instantly recognizes that I'm in AR...not a different state!!!

I've delt with a couple GPS systems and I must say this one is a little hard to figure out at first but once you get the hang of it your good to go. The only real conplaint I have on this unit is the battery life is really low, about 1 and a half hours.

Works great, so user friendly and gets me where I need to go. Very easy to set up contacts and save favorites. Also has nearby points of interest. My only complaint would be that I live on a NE street and the unit says Nebraska instead of NE....something that tech support was not able to fix.

My first GPS but I'm very happy with the features and ease of operation. My son has a Garmin and said the LG 735 has some good features the Garmin did not have. Although re-furbished it looks and performs like new. It re-calculates your route quickly. The only thing I have noticed so far is the map that came loaded on the unit does not include the very new developement areas in my town.

This product was everything I was looking for in a navigator and more. I used it on three trips already with no issues. Easy to set up, use and understand. Clear screen and plenty of volume. I especially like the voice to text feature that says the names of the streets, routes etc.

First time user of LG. First time user of O S. Extremely pleased with both. Unit is extremely easy to use. Took it out of the box and set up a trip for my daughter and with a few simple verbal instructions she had a wonderful trip. Now she's buying one from O S for use in her job.

It was a last minute birthday gift to a friend. He recieved the it just in time for his birthday and his new car. He loves it althought it doen't have every place and it gave us some old addresses of places. But you can save the the places you go to by just clicking on save once you've reached your location. Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase and the product itself.
