This monitor is amazing. Now, I say that having ordered three monitors from overstock. I had to return one of them (earlier LG model). LG website says this monitor is discontinued, but it has very modern, pleasant appearance, and all the bells and whistles I care about. I've attempted to connect through dvi cable, and it flickers. Now, I am not sure if it's the monitor, the dvi cable or my video card.... or the settings. But outputs just fine through your old-fashioned analog cable, you won't notice any difference with a naked eye. The only reason I was going for dvi cable is to set up dual monitors, but that is beyond the needs of everyday users. By the way, the price is great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The L227WTG is a fine monitor, however use caution when purchasing "Refurbished". The refurbished monitor I purchased arrived with multiple abrasions, a dead pixel, slight light bleeding in one corner, and missing the cable back-plate. Also, the CD (which I fortunately had no intention of using) was not factory, but a cheap cd-r with a label slapped on it. More than dissatisfied with Overstock.com on this one.

First time user of Overstock and the process was smooth. Monitor came in just a few days in great condition. Easy to set up but the directions are written in about a 3 pitch font so its impossible to read. The picture was fuzzy so I had to figure out how to adjust without the aid of the manual. Poke and hope. It worked and the monitor is great now - clear, no glare, good colors. I would buy it again!

The product was great for the price and shipping, I feel like I got an awesome deal but the dead pixel bothers the crap out of me, I keep looking at it....but for the price I am really happy and would not hesitate to recommend this and this site to everyone as I already have been for years now

Beware of refurbished LG products. Mine arrived as if my 3 year old niece had packed it. Then, the "software" that came with it was a home burned disc with a hand written label on it. It was also missing one of the cables and I had to go to Radio Shack to get it. Finally, once I got it plugged it, it worked for exactly 10 minutes and the screen faded out and died. I replaced it with a refurbished Samsung which works brilliantly. It must be the LG refurbish-er who is to blame here. But never again - sorry LG.

The first Monitor came damaged from shipping which I sent back and the second Monitor was defective which I also sent back and then just asked for a refund which was not a problem from Overstock. I have bought other items from Overstock and was very pleased. I will buy from them again.

This is my 2nd LG monitor, so now I have 2 hooked up to my computer. This one is 22" and the color quality is excellent, size is great. I just wish I had paid attention to the plugs in back as this one didn't have a HDMI plug. Other than that, it's a great product.

Item worked perfectly for 1 year and 2 weeks exactly. Came home today to find that it simply will not turn back on. Warranty was good for 1 year. Funny that the item broke within 2 weeks of the manuafacturer warranty. It's almost like it was planned or there was a timer on it. If I had paid 1/2 as much, it might have been ok, but this is a bit ridiculous. Item should have worked for 2 years min! Thank god I have an old Compact monitor from 2001 that still works, otherwise I would be sol!

OK just like everyone else who has written I was completely satisfied with this monitor! Shipped quickly. And with the O dollars I had built up it cost well under one hundred dollars... My wife has a much smaller screen on her computer and I almost feel guilty I have not replaced hers with another one! I will be soon because this screen is really sweet! and the price is right! Time will tell how long it works but so far so good!

It may not be the best monitor I've ever seen, but for only $130, I got a widescreen 22" LG monitor that works great! No complaints at all from me.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality monitor. I can't say that I understand all of the technical stuff related to what to look for in a computer monitor, but it is exactly what I wanted far as a crisp,clear picture. The color is beautiful and easy on the eyes. I would purchase another one in a heart beat if needed! Before you go out and spent an arm and a leg on a monitor, check out OVERSTOCK. Had an LG L227WTG for photo and video editing. Love the color, the contrast, etc. Wanted to buy a matching one so i could go dual monitor, and this one was great, too. If its good enough for video and photo work, its good enough for nearly everyone

arrived quickly and product in good condition, works perfect for my need.

Bought this monitor originally and would not work. Wouldnt turn on at all. Blue light would flash occasionally and that was it. Called Overstock and told them about it and they shipped out another one and sent me a return sticker to ship the defective one back. I received the new on in a couple of days and it works beautifully. Looks brand new even though refurbished. Very pleased with the customer service and return policy and am very happy with this LG!

We purchased two of these monitors in Sept. '09 and love them! They are still working perfectly, and have nice sharp viewing.
