If you are looking for a 4 by 3 monitor with a big display, this is it! A little on the expensive side, but I bought this to replace my 21 inch Sony CRT, ($600), that died! Non repairable motherboard! And you don't need a crane to install this one! Viewing area is slightly larger than the Sony! You can't go wrong with this monitor!

This particular unit made a buzzing/rattling sound when the brightness was set over 50%. However, customer service was great in quickly facilitating a replacment monitor. Overstock sent a return shipping label, paid for return shipping, and shipping of the replacment monitor. The replacment monitor was previously used (a company's inventory tag was still affixed to the monitor) but it does the job - the displayed image is sharp, bright, and does not make a buzzing/rattling sound.

I ordered this monitor because I needed an inexpensive, high-resolution monitor quickly. This monitor fit the bill, in spades. It has the resolution I need and better color contrast than my old monitor; all I had to do was to plug it in. I would recommend this monitor to anyone looking for an inexpensive, large monitor with a high resolution.

We used these monitors in our clinics across Texas. the picture quality of xray images is amazing. even though this is a refurbished monitor, it looked brand new when we took them out of the box. nothing like it. for the price no way you find a monitor with this quality. 100% Recommended.

This monitor has IPS panel, which has great viewing angle and the color reproduction compared to cheap TN panel. I was bit worried since this was refurbished, but I am really satisfied with this. I can recommend this monitor to anybody who needs 4:3 monitor.
