LG L2000CP-BF 20-inch LCD Flat Panel Monitor (Refurbished)

I have purchased several of these in the past and have had very good luck with them. They were on 24/7 (with image/content) for over 5 years before they started failing. Saw some referbs on Overstock, and snatched up three!

I bought 3 refurbs to use as EYEFINITY gaming system. But here are the issues: 1. All 3 products, when set to their lowest position, do not have the same height 2. One had the wrong base; so stand couldn't be mounted. It also had a very loud, high-pitch noise when brightness is turned up. Replacement had same issue, but right base this time. 3. One couldn't not be fully rotated 90degree to portrait mode. 4. All 3 has some horrible light leakage...in a black background, some areas of the screen (mainly corners) has a white-ish colorwash appearance. 5. I am requesting return for all 3 products because of the above. 6. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

nice monitor, viewing angle excellent, perfect for my cocktail arcade machine project, otherwise i will get a wide screen, shipping was fast arrive before they promise. did i mention viewing angle the best for that price range, not bad to be refurbished looks new.

I bought a refurbished monitor. I knew I might be opening a can of worms. It didn't come with the digital cord. Upon install, it made a high pitched noise that fluctuated with loading of programs and websites, but didn't turn off until the monitor turned off. It was loud. It made me cranky. I couldn't stand to be at my computer. I tried resetting the refresh rate, didn't work. For the #s higher than 60, it said it was out of range. Used my old digital cord, and it didn't acknowledge the connection and there was nothing on my screen. It went into "Digital Power Save" mode. For all this, I give it zero stars. However, in analog mode, the monitor was crisper, cleaner, and brighter than the digital connection on my current Sceptre. Aside from some text in the middle of the screen appearing a slight bit fuzzy, it was fantastic. For this I give it 4.75 stars. (I gotta take off for fuzzy text.) I returned it hoping to get a replacement, but not available. I'm looking to try again with a brand new monitor. If it's possible, I may amend or edit this review at that time. A final note: The fulfillment office that shipped this monitor to me really needs to get some lessons in how to pack and tape a box. The monitor appeared as if it arrived okay, but another day or two of jostling in the back of a truck and it may not have. I did box it and tape it better on the return path.
