Couldn't ask for a better external DVD drive. Easy to install & works perfectly. Overstock's price was the lowest price with excellent customer service.

Outstanding product for the price and seems to do what I need. Slim case, light, and portable with simple installation. The only draw back is it does not come with an external AC addapter but I can probably purchase one if I really have the need.

This was fool proof. I was able to back up my computer and all the movies I made. I just plugged it in!

I ordered the drive to burn pic's from my computer to a DVD. When it arrived it was supposed to be new. The box had clearly been opened, and the unit had a little wear on it. I needed to get the project done ASAP, otherwise I would have returned it. With no clear understanding of the process and the directions unclear, in my opinion, it took me at least 8 hours to figure it out over the course of 2 days. I finally got it done, with music as well, and am happy with the end result. I don't know what else it can do though, and frankly I'm a little intimidated to try! I would not consider this an easy to use unit unless you're tech savvy. I wished I'd have gone with the Roxio.

Am very happy with this external burner! Literally opened the box it was shipped in, pugged it into drive, loaded software and it was done! Great price too. Couldn't be happier. Am considerig buying another one for a gift.

This drive is very small & works well. I use mine with a Dell Mini. What is great is that you don't need an electrical outlet to use it. I have not used Light Scribe yet, but everything else about it is great.

I bought this to use with my Dell mini--mostly to burn cds and or rip things to iTunes. In both cases, its performed well. Haven't used the software that came with it--it has just been plug and play for me. Also, haven't used it to watch movies yet, though I might try when I travel next. My only real complaint is it is not superfast--takes longer to rip and burn than on the disc drive attached to my regular laptop. But since I'm moving all my net and music use to the mini, this was more convenient than putting everything on the other machine first than sharing. Overall, a good, simple, low-cost add on to a mini.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my teenaged son. He simply loves it! Thanks Overstock.

I have used this on two different machines with two different operating systems. It was easy to install and use on both. I originally purchased it to add functionality to a notebook running Windows XP, which it does very well, but it also works well with my Windows Vista operating system.
